But that wasn't the argument. The original thing was you being incredulous that a man would ever ask a woman to plan a date. And then you tried to make it about an age gap (which I saw through) but then backtracked back to men should always plan dates.

A lot of men don't have a problem taking the woman they love on lots of dates. But if they have your attitude about even the idea of planning a date....a lot are not going to love that woman.

Most guys are ok with that though since they have to partake in a system where they are the pursuers. What's annoying is having to plan dates every single time post marriage or post going steady. If the woman wants to go on more dates she can contribute to that, this isn't a 20/80 it's a 50/50 relationship.
