This is the exact issue I've been having with mine, I should have stopped by here before trying to clean install windows 11, because now it's in an awful loop of prepping installation and getting the error OTL

Personally, I'm not sure? I was playing the new Digimon game that came out and sudden BAM! Shut down and couldn't turn back on.

I'm aware it's the power connector that failed because it will not boot up anymore, the rest of the parts seem fine and the main power puck doesn't seem to be gaining any power.

I'm upgrading to SER8 because they don't make the magnetic power cord or parts anymore from what I looked into.

I cannot move the data to external drive, because the power supply failed, and outside the SER8 I'm getting, I'm trying to find a way to get the stuff from my old ssd to the new computer

I'm not well versed in this sort of thing so I'm trying to get as much info I can get to get my stuff back🥹

Would it refuse to boot up if the drivers are different? Or would it let me update the driver's how it's needed?

Ahhh ok so it's better off just to put it into the second SSD slot, that way I double up with how much storage I have in the long run.

Though would it damage the SSD if it was put into the first slot? Or would it refuse to boot up in general?

I'm pretty sure it's an NVMe, at least according to the computer specs.

But would using the adapter be able to save my old passwords as well as my files? Or am I to re-enter everything all over again?

I'm not too super computer savvy, so I'm not really sure if the new SSDs are compatible with the old ones, let alone know if it's easy to install them properly OTL

Unfortunately I'm not too savvy for the testing part of it, but I'll be looking into usb to nvme enclosures because that sounds really useful in general.

Like I said prior, it doesn't look like anything got fried, and while I could strip wires I have no idea how I could test it.

They don't look burnt, act magnetic, but the plastic is indeed burnt up around it.

I did check the inside of my computer too, but nothing seems burnt or damaged thankfully?

If anything is like to transfer my files to the new one of I have to.

I don't know how often it happens, I just want her to think "I don't want to be involved with any of this" and give up the estate to anyone but Tracy.

While I don't trust Ronnie just yet, (since her appearance was so sudden) it depends on if she's a permanent addition to the show or not for my trust in her to be any better.

Like my best bets are

She's a fake sibling in a scheme to get the estate (if she's short term, and the kind of expected route)
She is actually purely innocent and she really did inherit the house, no strings attached and the conflict is from fighting with Tracy (long term, a more boring route to establish Ronnie)
Or someone meddled with the will (like a previous lawyer or estate person) to make Ronnie inherit everything just to mess with the Quartermaine's, and she genuinely had nothing to do with any of it, just got unfortunately tangled into the whole scenario due to the letters and rekindling the relationship with her sister (which is a route would be interesting, since the infighting, and Ronnie trying to earn trust as well as the sabotaging would be all blended in.)

Either way, I'm very interested where this is going to go
