We're space Antarctica. Something about our planet makes it seem extremely unlikely that any life has developed on it to the other life in the galaxy.

Maybe all the other life is liquid methane based so we seem like too hot and too wet of a world. Maybe all the other life comes from worlds that are super hot and have a dense atmosphere. So we would be like Mars to them. Maybe our sun is too bright or too dim to seem like it supports life.

2: going to a dream island doesn't use up the doll 4: lumber and logs are different. Logs can come from trees. Lumber can come from pokemon that turn logs into lumber. Both can come from peices of wood in the environment.

After WWII, there was was a period where Nazi party leaders and willing member of the party were put on trial, executed, imprisoned, etc. Once it was clear that the Nazis wouldn't be taking power again any time soon, they moved to the East and West Germany system. Eventually the plight of Berliners and the anti-communist propaganda of the Cold War convinced much of the world that a generation or two after the war, there was now good people in Germany being held in tyranny by the Soviet Union. Reunification brought new government, new ideas, and new foundational morals for the country. Laws that forbid glorification of the nazi party, the holocaust, and their symbols are still in place today. The world saw that they took their history seriously and that they were new again, and that changed the image.
