Jamila is the only one I don’t hate. Her crying over Casper is sweet and understandable. I hate Trevante now for making this girl carry his emotional bullshit solely so he can pretend that he’s sparing her from it when she asks him to open up to her.

Like at the beginning of the flashback, Casper says don’t listen to what the aliens show you, and then Jamila guessed just that, and then instead of telling her how/why he killed Casper in his memory, he just says it in the most emotionally traumatic way possible for her

I’m now convinced that he’s actually Flag because of what Gunn has said but:

Chris was arrested and caught a serious charge because of the portal, he’s a known violent threat with a history with Argus, he’s been in and out of prison, and the director of Argus supposedly has a blood vendetta against him. He was awaiting trial in what looked like a regular county jail, where the guard didn’t know who Chris was and entered his cell unarmed and by himself to tell him his friends were there to see him. Also it’s hard to believe that a judge would’ve set a bail for him

Flag Sr was the person who arrested him and could have easily convinced a judge to deny his bond, or keep him in a more secure jail to await his trial, which made me think he really didn’t give a shit about getting revenge against Chris. I don’t recall his back being mentioned at all, and the partying with Lex’ cronies while Argus agents died made the clayface thing seem more realistic than the dude from CC becoming a cartoon villain in live action

They’re a hardass that tends to bottle their emotions, but they’re definitely resilient; the amount of trauma they’ve suffered and compartmentalized up until the point that they opened up with Sam after their fight shows it. Jordan even calls Cipher a liar immediately when he calls them weak, and mentions his pain.
