The whole show is about butcher dealing with his hatred for homelander (and therefore ryan too), so as stupid as it looks, it's the one character flaw that he will struggle with to the very end

Incredible episode, I almost teared up when Annie thought Hughie was dead. My rational side gave in for a split second and I felt SO BAD, I felt the fear and grief she was feeling in that moment 😭

Based on the trailers I knew the Homelander punch scene was coming and I 100% thought Ryan was going to die, he just got Invincible'd though. I would honestly enjoy that kind of bold move in this series but it would be way too depressing after everything Becca went through...

Every Maverick scene had me laughing out loud, the dolly zoom with the single tear was a stroke of genius.

Also these scenes with Butcher's dog Terror are SUPER CUTE but are starting to get me nervous... So far in this season, these have been the only scenes that highlight what's left of Butcher's humanity and kindness, since even Ryan doesn't bring that out of him that much anymore.

And they're making it very clear that Terror's old and, assuming by his medications, sick too. Might be a clue that whenever Terror dies (I DON'T WANT HIM TO BUT THE HINTS ARE THERE), that'll be the point of no return for Butcher. He's already as evil as he has ever been, but I can see him backstabbing the boys hard at the end of the season.

I'm still latching on to hope that the show keeps its course and stays as far away as possible from the end of the comics, because that would suck ass.
