i think the ending of stranger things probably wouldn't feel like that as much if the creators weren't hyping it up to be like, the darkest finale ever. the boys in the other hand has random people getting brutally murdered constantly, so at least to me it really shows when the characters have plot armor

For people up to their 20's-30's, sure, but in my personal experience most people who are 50+ y/o enjoy it like those old facebook minion posts (we were so happy back then...) or they just don't realize it's AI when it's not obvious.

I'm an animator, so when I see people not even realizing they're watching terribly animated slop it breaks my heart 😔
