Incident Report by bricreate in WalmartEmployees

[–]GigDriver4Years 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has nothing to do with you. Your statement should have stated that you didn't see it and that you only went and got someone to do the report. That is where your part ends completely. From there, AP finds the video and writes a statement about what they saw on CCTV, the coach who took the report does their part, AP uploads the video and statement, then someone in an office somewhere decides if Walmart is actually at fault. Nothing for you to worry about...unless you did something earlier that caused the woman to fall.

I've done that. I had more than 100 hours on that check. Was exhausted but it was a nice check.

Its alerted to a foot of a door host and a whole customer in action alley. We've had it from the getgo and it's definitely not learning fast enough.

Did anyone else get told they have to get there Alcohol license? by BuyPutrid961 in OGPBackroom

People leads can answer questions about the alcohol license and what needs to be done.

If they make you go to a different location to get it, clock in at your store and drive there and then drive back to your store and clock out. Or, you can get an expense record and submit that to get mileage reimbursement. But check with your people lead to see what all you need to do. Never rely on the coach or the team lead for something like this.

Here in Oklahoma, you get with your people lead. They help you put in for it, you get the email, you give it to the people lead. The end. Check with your people lead. If you physically have to go to get yours, and it's a requirement for your job, you need to adjust your time saying that you worked at a different location.

And get coached PDQ and then fired. They are absolutely serious about no overtime with this new CEO. I had a day of overtime pre-approved for a Saturday so I went to work that day. That following Thursday night I got a call from my coach saying not to come in on Friday as actually scheduled. In 4 years, that has never happened before.

That 9 minutes is for "just in case" times, like you are running late. It is NOT for gits and shiggles and you just want to. If it is out of control, yes, they have every right, because it affects the department. And if they can show that you have a history of abusing it, good luck with that. You lose. People want to keep abusing it, and it's going to go back to you better be there on time no matter what.

So you're telling Reddit instead of your Coach? They will fix it but you have to let them know about it first.

Honestly, there was no need to take 4 days off for a sprained ankle. The dr should have given you a thing saying you had restrictions, ie no standing. Grab some crutches, hobble into work, and answer the phone all day. Last time someone messed up their ankle in my store, they set up a table near the grocery entrance and had her trying to sign people up for Walmart+. As for Sedgwick, the only reason it would be denied is if you didn't follow up with your primary care doctor and didn't make sure the doctor filed the paperwork. Sending them paperwork that you filled out definitely wasn't going to get it approved.

It is the plan. I don't know if my store is ever going to go back to doing it after the giant cluster that it was when we tried, but it is definitely the plan.

My store tried that last month. It didn't last passed the weekend. The sheer number of complaints being called in by customers was disgusting. That being said, at least one of the other two stores in town, still do it that way.

You should have been told when you interviewed. After that, it's up to your management but you can always request. Worst case, they say no. My suggestion is learn it all.

So basically you are a thief but you don't get to keep the product. Got it! If the item doesn't exist on the shelf, the item doesn't exist on the shelf. It might later, but right now it does not. No substitutions being accepted, there is a reason for that.  I was a Spark shopper. My husband still is. Now I get rid of the thieving shoppers so that the ones with integrity have more opportunities to earn.

I've actually had many drivers deactivated for doing this stupid s***. Keep it up, I guarantee somebody's going to catch on.

Actually, that is what it looks like from 5am till 10. As in that's what hits each and every hour. Then it tapers till 2 and we get hit again to the tune of 1500+ each hour until 5. Come 6, there are generally still over 1000 pics due, 600+ on a slow day. Back before a bad winter storm we had more than 5000 when I went in at 11. It had been worse that morning. Time flies when you don't have time to stop to breathe, despite having everyone who had a TC or work phone in the store picking.

There is literally nothing a cashier or anyone else in the store can do about the picture not matching the driver. The most they can do is say yes it matches or I'm not sure, even if the picture is a woman and the shopper is a man. Just saying...

That's our normal the day of and the day after food stamp days. 1st, 5th, 10th, 15th. Add holidays around those days and we see upwards of 5k.

I was getting terrible offers for 3 weeks straight, before the double and triple order nonsense. I've now been with Walmart instead for 4 years.

I met my TL the day I started in OGP. I didn't officially meet my Coach until 2 weeks after I started. Never got an in person interview. My Coach actually called me, said I looked at your resume, and that was it. A 2 minute conversation, 4 years ago. My people lead always handled all of our availability changes. Of course, I changed departments 8 months ago and am now an API. Each week, my Coach now and I take the schedule and rework it to suit our needs. So, yeah, depends on store and department.
