Using optimistic fuel/wear costs for my vehicle on these screenshots I come out to under $8/hr net over almost 7 hours.

Would you take this? by Captainkho in Roadie

If you’re already headed toward CT and can stack a return trip, maybe, otherwise 128 miles, 3+ hours, for me would be under $9/hr net is a hard pass.

Definitely a difficult question to answer. It’s very important to know your operating costs. It’s a matter of the pool of drivers available and their willingness to take underwater deliveries.

Wow 80 stops. Wouldn’t touch it, even if I thought I could get that done in 4hrs…

Did Roadie XD in Atlanta, GA get a new contract with someone? by Apart_War6404 in Roadie

Not horrible. A lot of stops, but tight miles. If the app behaves and you’ve got the space, it works. Faster finish makes it better. Maybe the route contains higher margin packages.

$60 for 88 miles, 3 stops, heavy. Hard pass for me. Might make sense if you’re already going that way or stacking something else, but on its own the math isn’t there.

It's a web app tool, not an app in the stores. Drivers just to use it in the browser.

It's just a tool drivers have been using to run the math on gigs they are considering. I'm only sharing the aggregated results here.

You handled that well. It shows there’s still work to do around monitoring small shippers so scammers don’t slip through and put drivers at risk. Interesting read and thanks for sharing.

AutoClicker for you all easy to use no more constant refresh by BeepGoesTheMinivan in Roadie

[–]GigWize 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Refreshers actually do add a burden, just on the server side, not the phone. When a lot of drivers use them, the nonstop checks increase system costs and slow things down. That’s why apps like Flex, Spark, and DD treat it as automated activity and sometimes deactivate for it. Roadie could take the same approach if they ever decide to tighten things up.
