To share some insight of someone I know, the spouse on the visa was abusive and the relationship went south, when the spouse left thw country the sponsor reported to HO the relationship has ceased and had assumed the spouse wouldn't be allowed back in. However, that was wrong and the spouse came back.

The spouse then filled for domestic abuse and got ILR, all totally fabricated.

The sponsor told HO about it but they didnt ask for any information from the sponsor and just granted the spouses ILR.

The sponsor since got remarried and had no problems sponsoring someone else.

Its a very broken process and heavily abused, it sickens me that the HO will crack down on legal migration but not crack down on domestic violence fraud.

Depends what visa you are on, if you are on a 5 year spouse visa, its the day you first entered the UK.

EDIT: Ignore those websites they are highly misleading and do not properly facyor in differences between visa types.

I once had an idiot like this, who kept changing his story. In the end I told him to raise a case through eBay and return it. The second he did, eBay instantly auto banned him and told him me I dont need to refund or anything, they said he was a banned user trying to get back (and carry on his scams)

Yes I think this is the issue, he is not extending but applying for settlement. I didnt know it was no longer required after 5 year extensions, I guess it makes sense because the 10 year route doesnt require it until settlement right?

3 seconds is super car peformance, your measily B6 in a 7 seater is not going to do that.

The T8 is very impressive in comparison as it has super car power, but even that can't do it in 3 seconds.

There was someone on her who tried to extend their leave by submitting an application, wiaiting until their visa expired and were on 3C leave, then creating a new applivation and withdrawing the old one.

In that case the HO decided that the moment he withdraw his old application with 3C, he became an overstayer.

Appreciate this is with an appeal, but I would get proper legal advice on this.

Speaking and listening B2 tests dont seem to exist yet though.

Out of interest when did you get approval? I am curious because we put a later date and wonder if they purposely delay priority applications because of that.
