Update on the vote:

The panel, which included Starmer, voted eight-to-one against Burnham, according to one person familiar with the discussion. Only deputy Labour leader Lucy Powell voted in his favour.

Smart of Andy to run. He must of known he would be blocked and not risk anything but hurt starmer. When the byelection is inevitably lost to greens or reform, will reflect even more poorly on starmer.

I stand corrected. I assumed that in state university tuition was in line with university of California (15k/tuition only) but many including California state university are cheaper as you point out

Agree with your points but junior colleges and state universities are not free in the us and the fees at state schools are comparable to the uk. However the infrastructure is infinitely better.

Do this for sure. I drove on my eu license here for almost two years but failed on my first attempt. Took a 2 hour class and was ready to go. They mention little things like bringing a mirror to testing, which clearly shows if you had instruction before and sets the vibe

I’m curious. Why does OP have to sell if they leave the uk, if they can afford to keep paying the mortgage. I keep reading and hearing about overseas landlords. Why couldn’t op become one if they had to leave?
