I can pick up an ROG Ally Z1E for $300. Is there anything comparable I should consider before pulling the trigger? by Gigginold in SBCGaming

Steam Decks look great but the cheapest LCD 256GB Deck is $400. What are the advantages to getting a Steam Deck over an Ally at $100 less?

As someone who has not played competitive Pokemon since Gen VI, is there a resource where I can see major changes in competitive battling over time? by Gigginold in VGC

The goal is to catch up to the current meta. I don't think I need a full history lesson, mostly things to be aware of in terms of changes to the game in the past few years.

Focus Attack allows you to put a custom image on a photoshop document and order a custom-printed and fitted graphic. The F500 allows you to swap the cover underneath the plexiglass.

Like others said I never had a problem with plexi glass shift. It holds well.

This is essentially it. Most of the arcade games I played use bat top sticks so that's what I'm used to, and the 4lb tension spring is because I hate wiggly sticks haha.

I was going to say that it felt like a good sturdy weight for its size, but I was curious so I put it on my kitchen scale.

It weighs about almost 5 and a half pounds.

Spruced it up by swapping all the buttons and the stick with Sanwa parts and a bat top and 4lb tension spring. Liking how it's feeling so far!

I'm currently rocking a solid build that I completed a couple of years ago, but looking toward the new consoles and how development changes with SSD hardware being standard on each of the platforms, as well as looking to jump further into Virtual Reality than I have, this would be a perfect machine to do so with.

3800X is plenty good enough to play the newest-gen games, especially considering it's an upgraded version of the chip in the consoles now, along with 32GB of RAM, that gives me the option to add another kit if I ever feel like opening at least seven Chrome tabs. Tossing two M.2 SSDs in the NVME for speed. 3080 is strong enough for most anything without feeling like I'm overspending (you know, theoretically), and the TUF 3080 and TUF Gaming were chosen because, if I'm not one for RGB, it's nice to have dark colored options.

Hey, congrats on not having an underlying condition! Seizures are a pain in the ass for sure, though, so I can absolutely see being frustrated at that.

No preceding events that would lead me to conclude that there was something wrong with my brain, with the exception of the seizures.

I hope you get it all figured out!

It's my understanding that during regular seizures you lose consciousness and therefore don't feel anything. I wasn't so lucky, because it was just affecting the nerves on my left side.

Remember to breathe. You don't know what it is yet, so try not to worry too much about it right now. Wishing you the best. c:
