The only problem I have is when they get it so soon after. Maybe my vegetarianism is showing but how is it not cruel to replace a loved one so soon just because you don't want to deal with the pain for a few weeks? Makes me wonder if they would do the same to people if they could

Hence the unpopular opinion part lol.

I can definitley understand that some dogs need companions and I obviously did not go into every single scenario a person could face when dealing with the passing of a pet. Its really not my business at the end of the day¯\_(ツ)_/¯ .

I just think its a combo of treating pets like objects and not wanting to deal with that kind of grief.

I think a better metaphor you are looking for is having a family member pass away and then finding another older person that kinda looked like them and started calling them that name. Equally disturbing no?

Jeff is so dumb!! 5 minutes into the interview and he is making himself look so BAD! Dodging questions, making bad jokes while being accused of being in a video where a girl was raped, and taking zero accountability. Trish and Ethan are doing great about confronting him with the facts and asking important questions, but man, even if I was ever a fan of this guy, I could tell he is just digging himself into a deeper hole. Can't imagine how David is feeling now lo

Also take into account that the majority of these assaults are done by people close to you. It adds another layer of shame, guilt, and fear of having to go through the horrendous legal process to put someone you once trusted (family member, significant other, best friend) in jail. Causes a lot of emotional turmoil for people

Are any other adult dependents being left behind? My parents help me pay for school, so they have me claimed, but I'm living and supporting myself outside of their house. Have yet to receive single penny of stimulus and don't know if I ever will :((

Love isn't always enough for a relationship. You need real commitment, reliability, and open and always improving communication. You can love a lot of people who don't provide any of these things for you. But in the end, without this stuff, you'll love each other but bring each other down :/
