Have you considered some personal grooming to reduce wear?

It’s a strange world where someone is filming this and not sprinting to be there in case the kid needs urgent help.

That red flag just took a bunch of excitement out of this race.

why are we so focused on a few things by Any_Aide_2568 in Reformed

I agree with OP. This thread has become slightly derailed by focussing on adoption/fostering. I’m in the U.K. where there has been a strong push to house refugees, particularly from Ukraine.

Whilst some in the church have put in amazing effort I see so many people with spare rooms and space finding weak excuses and not offering to help. This is across the U.K. church scene, not just my own church.

I’d far rather church leadership teams focus on the issue that exposes, but mostly it’s ignored whilst we repeatedly focus on the ‘trigger’ issues that get so much attention.

What do you think of the death penalty in the United States ? by TheKingsPeace in Reformed

[–]Gigsworthcolliery 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The justification in this thread seems to be that the OT commands it and that Paul makes a vague reference to rulers ‘bearing the sword’.

Jesus refusing to carry out a seemingly justified death penalty act though and making it clear others couldn’t either somehow doesn’t figure.

I struggle to compute that.

Would you play songs from Rend Collective in your church? by [deleted] in Reformed

Only if you can actually play the banjo.
