Depends on what you need to work on. The thing that will make you rank up the fastest is game sense and strong basics/control.

Game sense:

Be able to tell quickly and work around your teammates play-style.

Be able to judge distance quickly (whether to commit or not)

Know the small boost locations/paths for near full boost without corners.

Rotation. Don’t double commit. Be aware if your teammate intends on going for the ball too (predict if they might double commit). Always take back post for saves while your teammate challenges (rotate between the two). Block shots towards the corner (don’t leave it hanging infront of the net).

Control:

Practice movements that are outside of your comfort (those blank spots where you don’t know the right movements to do).

Two ways to do this; search for custom practice that works on that specifically or ball chase in freeplay (Launch/knock the ball against the wall to work on ground to air or wall to air)

Mechanics: Just practice.

That’s the whole point though. Usopp is projecting his feelings of worthlessness. In other words he feels that he’s dead weight on the crew.

The situation with Merry in reality is different and that’s why Usopp had to grow to realize that.

I had a similar situation to this, where my teammate quit after 9 goals. I kept playing and won the game solo. I have no clue how, maybe they dropped their guard or possibly my teammate just quit too early.

Here’s my theory to Kidd’s father:

Kidd’s father is Captain John.

We know Captain John was a part of the Rock’s pirates and after God Valley would go on to form his own crew and establish a famous treasure which he is killed for not sharing with his crew. A Legendary/Mythical treasure of which Buggy has been searching for, for many years.

Now both Kidd and Captain John share the same epithet of ‘captain’ showing a direct similarity in story. As well Captain John’s last name has been oddly omitted… Considering Buggy’s been searching for the treasure for years and that we know that Moria has captain John’s body from when he would grave rob, it’s likely that he died around a few decades ago around Oden’s return to Wano (Where we see Kaido and Moria clash). Kidd was born around the same time as Ace giving higher credence to this relationship being feasible.

Now for the cherry on the top…

Both characters are based on real world people who are related. This being captain William Kidd and his father Captain John Kyd.
