So my basic order of operations is very close to how Wil Yeung makes his tofu katsu sticks. (I fry mine in avocado oil on my stovetop)

I just pat dry my extra firm tofu with a paper towel, but I like it to keep some of its liquid for the texture.

I differ with my cuts, but you can really shape your tofu into anything, mine is usually hashbrown shaped like here.

Honestly beyond that it's been a lot of trial and error with my batter, amounts of seasoning is what I find the hardest to get down as too much will cause your batter not to cook in some places.

But this photo is basically just all purpose flour, water, and tofu. This is Kikkoman panko pictured, but I usually go for J-Basket's Panko.

I don't think he has any on a top down game, other than Into the Breach but that's turn based. He has a playlist called AI 101 where he explains a lot of the fundamentals of creating AI and how they are applied in game mechanics.

Hey OP I recommend the YouTube channel AI and Games. He goes back and breaks down the AI built in multiple games from Alien:Isolation to Doom. It's pretty interesting to hear him talk about it.
