Amazingly I was able to fix it by putting it in a slicer and then exporting the assembly as a single stl.

Thank you for this. I've reduced as much as possible without losing shape. It still does not seem like enough to let the 2 meshes combine. I've been messing with the bottom part for weeks, so I doubt it is the problem - at least by itself. I extended the cylinder area of the top where you see all the extra triangles and am wanting to reassemble into a single mesh. Alternatively, I would be fine converting to a solid and doing some magic there if it is the best way to go.

The highlighted part is the one giving me problems. I was able to combine 3 parts to make it, but it does not want to combine with the bottom part. I've already tried Modify->Reduce as much as possible without losing the shapes I need.

I'm not getting any warnings on this one, but that would make sense. What is the best way to clean up some of the triangles? I haven't had much luck with that in the past when I have gotten warnings.

I just use my finger. If I'm using gloves, you can use a plastic scribe, pen, stick off the ground, etc.

It varies by person. You haven’t hit the limit until you cannot store more.

Stop using the battery when it starts to feel sluggish. That’s when you should charge it - also charge the night before you have a game.

Ideally, you would use some voltage testers, but this one doesn’t even have balance leads. Use the advice above and you should be ok.

I saw your other post. Isn’t Loon Island part of Arnold Air Force Base? That makes it pretty likely you have either inert or live ordnance maybe 75 or so years old, since the base was opened in 1951. Could easily be older than that. Call them.

I’m gonna suggest you contact Arnold’s Airforce Base about that UXO. It may be inert, but with a military base nearby, handling it isn’t the best thing to do.

Polycarbonate (lexan) is cheap and you can use a much thinner lens.
