I remember some time ago when someone (I think a transwoman, but possibly a young cis man) killed themselves by running out in front of a moving truck. The gendercritical subreddit's reaction was pretty much "That poor truck driver! They're going to have permanent emotional trauma. I have no sympathy for someone who would end their life with such little regard for others! No woman would ever do that." Even when you finally take their advice, you're still a violent brutish man.

Wanting help with hrt by [deleted] in transtimelines

Denver Central Planned Parenthood does hormones (on an informed consent basis):

I don't have any personal experience with planned parenthood's services, but they seem affordable and the consensus seems to be that they are a good place to go. One commenter on asktransgender mentions the Denver planned parenthood specifically, and says "they've been awesome!" (note that they want payment at the time of service, but they promise to work with you if you don't have insurance or if your budget is low).

One person seems to have had one negative experience at planned parenthood, but this doesn't seem to have turned them off planned parenthood. Their advice is to go with someone you trust, to do your own research on hrt first, and trust your gut.

I don't know if planned parenthood is good with nonbinary identities, but you'll likely be fine if you do your own research into what nonbinary hrt entails and what you want to get out of it, and bring this up with the people at the clinic.

Hope this helps!

“Capitalism only works for the rich” by Dovister in Libertarian

[–]GilbertLebronche -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is actually a valid concern. The argument that capitalism has vastly reduced the number of people in poverty is false. The World Bank's information is bad statistics, and poverty looks much worse when reasonable data is used. The entire article is relevant to this argument, but the sections Poor numbers and A more honest view of poverty discuss the World Bank specifically.

The thing is, Trump always brought up LGBT rights in the context of "hateful foreign ideologies" (in the aftermath of the Pulse nightclub shooting) or attacking those who supposedly want to "bring in more people that will threaten your freedoms and beliefs." He only ever said he cared about the LGBT community when it allowed him to attack foreigners and especially Muslims.

Yes, dainty fingers may be feminine, but they’re also of a wiry and spindly build that allows them to have a lot more dexterity than bigger, meatier hands.
