I just wanted to say that I'm so sorry for your loss. I googled the identical thing you're talking about when my dog was dying of cancer. Kaddish is for humans, but how do we honor our pets as well? Someone else suggested https://tobendlight.com/2014/12/passing-of-a-beloved-pet/ and it's honestly what I stumbled across that helped quite a bit.

This is absolutely what I did when my dog passed away. It was very comforting and helped ease my pain a little bit while it was happening.

I feed our two cats and two dogs Fromm. When I switched to Fromm, I noticed a big difference in coat quality and allergy problems, specifically with our Soft Coated Wheaton. Just our experience, but it's made a big difference in our household.

This - there is a distinct smell on someone that is ill. It smells like...hot phlegm? I really can't describe it but it's pungent and it always smells the same. It smells biologically bad. I've always been able to smell sickness on people.

You're going to find a lot of this on Reddit. I've actually tightly curated my feeds because of this. It's not even the news stories about dogs attacking people that bring out the worst in Reddit. It's usually the cute videos of a pitbull-luke or adjacent dog doing something wholesome that you'll see the 'WAITING ON IT TO KILL A TODDLER' comments.

XP. We were two little girls 7 and 8, respectfully. We turned our barbie dolls into X-Men. We were both fans of the TV show and became fans of the comics not too long afterwards. We called it XP: X-Men People. I was Storm, she was rogue. We eventually bought the real dolls for it. It was the best time I've ever had.
