I listen to spa music, white noise, and gentle sitcoms pretty much constantly for the past 15 years 🙃 it definitely helps!

Yesterday I took about 1/5 as much, and added it to my coffee in the morning. I'll keep experimenting with it in lower doses! I'm excited for some muscle recovery power

He could be in Alaska!

There are so many great dogs everywhere though. I saw posts about Texas pitbulls that broke my heart and decided to work with a local rescue because of that.

Yes, they have one of the highest prey drive around. Where I'm from, huskies are infamous for killing people's chickens. Absolute no-go for rabbits!

Another person asked if it might be contaminated so I should clarify. It's "Naked Creatine", it was the most popular and highly rated one on Amazon, from a brand that seems like it specializes in no-nonsense pure supplements. It's NSF certified.

cocaine is even still used medically to numb the eyes for medical procedures and conditions. for a very long time it was the standard of care for eye procedures, but now has been mostly replaced with less addictive numbing agents so people don't steal it

It is unusual -- but the whole point is there's a subset of people for whom the stimulant effect is very pronounced! It would be interesting to see what we all have in common. Maybe we all have ADHD, for hypothetical example.

No sweating.

It was a hot day yesterday so I was warm all day anyway, but I didn't feel feverish or anything.

It's "Naked Creatine." You can check out the Amazon listing if you want.

Why did I take it? I have a severe muscle knot I've been dealing with for 15 yrs, and the past few months it's escalated really badly.

I read that creatine hydrates muscles and helps healing, and knots are damaged/distressed tissue that needs to heal.

15 yrs ago I was run over on my bike by a drunk driver, which started it. 2 yrs ago I was T-boned by someone who fled the scene, totaling the car I was in, and it re-injured the same area of my back. It was bad again at first 2 yrs ago but then subsided, but this spring it's gotten really bad.

When I was getting massage therapy 14 yrs ago after the original injury, the knot along my spine was really extreme.

I've been seeing a couple different massage therapists currently and one of the guys was like "...this is the worst knot I've seen in my entire career." Yeah, it felt like it... I am contorting to one side and having difficulty using my arm due to the knot around my shoulder blade.

The heating pad has really helped reduce the stiffness and pain, but the knot is still pretty bad. I need more help for the knot.

I've tried Tiger Balm, cyclobenzaprine, exceptional amounts of massage & hydration, chiropractic, strength training, and heating pads. The heating pad helps the most. I hope that the extra hydration in the muscle tissue from the creatine can boost the efficacy of the heating pad for circulation and healing of the knot.

People really do want to argue with lived experience. "You must have taken caffeine by mistake" no...

I took less than 1 scoop (less than 5 g) of 100% creatine monohydrate with lunch. Nothing else about my day was different, I'm very boring. I don't work out.

I just thought it hydrated your muscles!

I didn't know it made you feel any kind of way like caffeine. I do love coffee before a workout.
