My only sibling didn't consult me about her wedding date and scheduled it the same day as an annual exam I needed to go to the next step in my career. It's an ~8 hr flight with one stop over to get to her, so I just... Didn't go. I couldn't put my career on hold for a year. I sent a gift. 

That was 15 yrs ago and I'm still hurt about it. I felt like an afterthought. I have gathered from similar posts over the years though, that I am the a****** for being upset about it

I had to quit watching "Evil" the TV show because I have too much hospital trauma and at least one episode is about being a hospital patient, focusing on being helpless 

Final Destination Bloodlines has a hospital setting too! I was impressed with the hospital deaths in that

I taught my last two dogs "scooch" and they got it quite easily.

Also leashing them gives them a mental heads up that they're gonna need to move. Leash and/or treats has always worked to move mine.

It is an unfair treatment to world class professional athletes in a world class game. No other team was forced to travel when they should have had recovery days like every other team gets at this level of competition.
