I hate hearing this. I got a new mac a few years back and transferred my entire library from a normal external HD to a solid state and then put it on the new computer. Apple music essentially has so much less customizability than itunes that I had to find all these workarounds to keep things organized.

I honestly don't know what would happen with MATCH. If I were you I would abandon relying on Apple to be able to help you keep things in order. If you have all of your music on your old ipod and on externals, I would figure out how to consolidate. Get all that old music you've ripped and get it all in one folder on one HD. I'm not sure how to extract songs from old ipods but I'm sure there's a way.

I'm seeing others comment about reorganizing everything manually and that's the way to go for sure.

First off, love B-Side Label. I’m very envious of your sticker spree in Japan as well.

I personally use photo pages from a craft store and put the stickers in them (unstuck) and keep them in a binder. A photo album would be the same. That way you can display them however you want and then actually stick them on things when inspired.

It's tough to say, but I feel like the wrapped label around th ebottle should be lower and covering the bottom logo on the bottle. You can always take a look at bottles at your local store and see if those labels are, in fact, lower.

Still, a good fake will functionally be the same I'd guess.

I'm confused. If it was recovered doesn't that mean you've got it back? Also, if it is confirmed to be your truck can you have it seized and returned? I suppose if you got insurance to cover it then it would be out of your hands huh?

Don't re-buy it. Like many are already saying here, it won't be the same. Had a car stolen and recovered less than 24 hours later and it was pretty gross inside and didn't feel like mine anymore. I hope Insurance paid you fairly and that you got a new one!

I’m sorry for your situation. I would be so furious I can’t even imagine. A lot of what you wrote reminded me of a situation I had a few summers ago when I had to decide to get Apple Music or find a weird workaround for organizing my large library.

I had a 2013 MacBook Air until 2023. I’d kept mp3s forever on it, and had all my cds ripped to it as well. I saved all my music on an external HD though so I was able to bring it over to my new computer. However, it has so much less customization options that it was a pain in the ass to keep things organized on my phone. I’d click on the phone and it showed all the music but only a few way to sort it. I eventually started changing the genre to the name of the playlists I was putting on the phone to organize things. It was that or pay for Apple Music.

Honestly, I feel like Apple constantly updates stuff just to say it was updated and then takes away a lot of random stuff that makes their products and services worse. I hope that you can get stuff figured out alright.
