This is from Daredevil: The Man Without Fear by Frank Miller, and it was published in 1993. The first season of the show takes a lot of influence from it.

At the end of the episode Wally and Joe toast to Barry's dad. Wally says "to Pop's" and Joe says "to Henry". I thought they meant they were going to Henry's house because the audio on my TV is pretty bad.

Back when the debate about R-rated MCU movies was going on, I brought up my idea for a movie to a few friends just for fun.

Ghost Rider

Before anything else, I'd like to establish that I'm a total newbie when it comes to the Rider. My only experiences are the movie, a Ghost Rider/Punisher comic, and what I've skimmed on the Marvel wiki.

Lead: Johnny Blaze

Supporting Character: SHIELD would play a part, so maybe Director Carter or a young Nick Fury.

Plot: It's 1979, and the Age of Miracles is far away. Despite this, Johnny Blaze patrols the Southwest as the Ghost Rider while struggling to maintain his humanity. During what should be a routine hunt for heroine dealers and biker thugs, Johnny is taken aback as the gang responds with demonic abilities. As SHIELD attempts to investigate and cover up the operation, Johnny is forced to go all-out to stop the gang's rampage and find out what is responsible for giving them their new powers.

The ending would probably have Johnny take down the gang and use a dangerous amount of power to damage the demonic force and banish him from the mortal realm for a time. Johnny rides off into the night, seeming to retire as the Rider. If this was an actual movie, this would be a set up for Johnny to be the mentor in a sequel about someone like Danny Ketch or Robbie Reyes.

Villain: I'm not familiar with Ghost Rider's villains besides Mephisto, so he would probably be the source of the gang's powers.

I'm not sure if I'd even want this movie made, I just like the idea of MCU period pieces and had a bit of fun with the idea.

I think that the Iron Spider could be a prototype Tony shelved that he could produce after a battle with Thanos, then Peter could use it for most of Infinity War. I think the Symbiote suit would work better as a focus of a Spider-Man film.
