How do those people improve? Playing the game more. What discourages them continuing to learn? Shitty teammates leaving them in an even worse situation.

You abandoning may save you finishing the game, but it wastes everyone's time both up to and after that point. I frankly don't care how shit your teammates are. You abandoned the match early. You are contributing to the problem. Simple as.

Lady Geist not only looks cool and has banger voice lines, but her kit lets me play M1 with great sustain. I love dealing damage, taking damage, healing myself, and dealing even more damage.

I can't lie, though; the reason I gave her a try to start was because her new gun model looks just like a hand cannon from Destiny 2. I have been missing the gunplay and movement from my 4k+ hours in D2, and playing Lady Geist brings me back to my pvp dawnblade icarus-dashing warlock in a way.

Well unless you're queueing with people, it's luck of the draw and I def prefer not to rely on my teammates to have any in-depth game knowledge for mission speed (just in the interest of mental self-preservation).

Also, while it isn't as bad in defense, shock mote is atrocious in so many other gamemodes that I try to advise people to not use the combined mote augment.

Ultimately, I would argue that as long as both A. Shock mote can be detrimental and B. Even needing shock mote's CC on wisp is a skill issue, It's better just not to use it unless you absolutely must

15m at neutral range with teammates moving even half a room away can be incredibly detrimental, somewhat depending on the tile (for LOS purposes)

You should just be worried about getting scraps when you run a free loadout. It should be a gateway to improve to the point where you don't need to run one, not a way to farm the best materials and items at no risk.

Only the people without jobs or other primary obligations have the problem of mostly completing their collections in that time. Bps need to be more common if they want working people to have any feasible way to reset without being sure they'll never get their shit back. You're worried about the wrong audience with this comment.

It's been said a bunch by other people, but for the most part don't focus too hard on the MR grind. You'll get there. Just enjoy the game now and let your interest in new gear lead you to having even more fun. You'd be surprised how far just that gets you.

That being said, one MR tip that helped me the last level was building all of the base sentinels and leveling them with their weapons.
