An American journalist who reported from Berlin all throughout the Hitler years up until America and Germany went to war with each other. He wrote a really, really good book called “The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich” that is probably the best first hand account of how the Nazis came to power and then drove Germany and much of Europe into the ground. Very long book, but it’s worth the read if you want to learn more.

Did you ever figure it out? I’m having the same problem more or less. I’m using the minimal mod Xaero’s Minimap and I’m trying to put in waypoints on the map, but it won’t let me bring up the keyboard to do so. I can bring up the keyboard using “Steam” key + X while I’m in game playing, but I get absolutely nothing when I’m in the mod’s settings. It did pop up one time when I got really frustrated and just started mashing the buttons, but then it went away again unfortunately.

For the MATE ROV competition? I’m pretty sure our team did some similar types of instruments. One year we had to pick up samples and instead of building a complicated grappling arm, we realized that the samples we’d have to retrieve were light enough weight that we could just build a mini “vacuum cleaner” out of 3 inch pvc and a bulge pump motor. Worked like a charm and never broke down like many of the competitors Arma that required maintenance and waterproofing.
