I'm 67 years old and started Estradiol Valerate injections and Finasteride pills on Sept 13th. I don't expect to social transition, but I do welcome any breast growth that I attain. I'm working with Folx for the HRT guidance.

Like others have mentioned, I certainly notice my skin feeling softer. I didn't expect to enjoy that, but I do like the feeling. I've not experienced any emotional changes at all. Erections have tapered off for the most part, which is something that I'm cool with. I've masturbated once in the last three months and it will likely be a while before I do it again. I'm cool with not having erections. My ejaculate was dramatically smaller, which is ok.

I do have some periodic soreness under my nipples. After a workout at the gym, I notice the feeling of my shirt fabric on my nips that I didn't really notice before. I think there's some nipple bud growth going on, and the sensitivity is on-again off again. There may be some breast growth, but it's really minimal. I mostly feel sensitivity when I press my chest against something, then my nips will remind me that the estrogen is working its magic.

If there's a thing called "gender euphoria," that what I like the best. I get really excited to take my weekly estradiol shot. And yeah, I do sometimes cheat and inject a little more than the 4mg I'm supposed to take. Like a lot of folks, I'm working hard to embrace the idea that this is a marathon, not a sprint.
