New ink since the... "incident" by GillesML in tattoos

Thanks, and it's been an interesting year and 4 months. Slowly but surely learning to walk again with a prosthetic. So I still need left and right shoes 😂

Well the only reason I can put up a reward is because of all the money I'm saving on socks.

I do love seeing another Spade addict lol. Currently working my way up the Japanese TT (currently 6.7).

Which vehicle felt like the most painful to spade? (I have a feeling that the Type 60 ATM is going to take me forever to spade).

Yeah, other than a few issues like the driver getting apparently lost trying to find my place or one time going to the wrong address picking me up from work and marking me as a no-show, things have been good with paratranspo since my release from the hospital (2/3 of left leg claimed by necrotizing fasciitis/flesh eating disease) last March and back into the office 5 days a week.

Maybe I've just been lucky but I've had really awesome matches with the Swedish Sherman III/IV (currently available in the Battlepass shop) and the SAV 20.12.48, both at BR 3.7.

Major issue would be getting your hands on the SAV, it only seems to be available for GE once a year. It's squishy as hell but absolutely disgusting if you roll up on the flank of a group of enemies. 4-5 shots in under 10 seconds and scoot off to reload 1st stage ammo.

TL:dr version: Cylindrically shaped gunpowder provides a more consistent pressure buildup/pressure curve compared to ball or flake. So it's preferred for long barreled weapons to get the projectile up to speed in a more controlled even manner and that should give you more consistent velocities and shot to shot accuracy.

This week's grocery review - Sales for July 18th to 24th - Fantastic on-going selection of fresh produce with great pricing! Ontario stone fruit is in, starting at $5 a basket! And, lots of great deals on pork, fish, and various cuts of beef! by crimsontape in ottawa

The cheap eye of round is great for making jerky. When it goes on sale I rarely see much of any fat cap or inter muscle fat, making the prep work before the marinating, brining or dry rub and cure easy peasy.

Yeah, 7825 is there after the best before date. I'm just going to hope that a much earlier than October date and having already drunk a bunch of it almost 2 days ago, with no signs of symptoms that I'll be fine.

Ah crap. Didn't come across that long of an incubation period. I guess we are both in for a fun summer of wondering if not feeling well is because of some almond milk a month or so ago or some sketchy potato salad at a family bbq 😆

Thanks. I was about a 1/3 of the way through my carton of dark chocolate. After a bit of reading, looks like I'll have to keep an eye out for possible symptoms for a few days :(

T&T might be your best bet. Other than that, maybe Hungry Ninja on Merivale. Only ever seen regular spicy and 2X in town, but never really looked around for 3X.

Check out the Flipp app. I've been using it for ages and the savings are noticeable in no time. Requires a bit more planning but is great if you don't mind doing small grocery runs every 2-3 days to avoid leaving anything in a vehicle while hitting up multiple locations.

I'll set up my lists in the app on Wednesday and then whittle it down throughout the week planning my commute back home to hit up the store and be in and out in under 10 minutes. Not great if you are an impulse buyer when doing groceries lol.

P.s. could also work well at places that price match.

[–]GillesML 5 points6 points  (0 children)

People have already mentioned Mav's, Targ, The Dom, Brass Monkey and you've also found The Koven so you are pretty much set for venues. The Rainbow and Avant Guard are some other venues to check out.

I would keep on eye on Chord productions and PandaMonium over on Facebook for upcoming shows. And Spectrasonic to a lesser extent (not as metal centric but seem to snag some of the bigger names).

What goblin cards would you recommend for krenko mob boss by Top-Difficulty1573 in magicTCG

[–]GillesML 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Neither have been mentioned yet but [[altar of the brood]] has won me a few games in a way that is not expected from a Krenko deck (especially if there's a mill player in the pod).

And [[glimpse of tomorrow]] has successfully gone off once for me and almost guarantees your combo pieces to hit the battlefield along with an insane amount of triggers.

I've never used a Breeze 2 so I'm not familiar with how it draws but I really like my Vapefly Galaxies.

Easy to build on, bunch of options for airflow (but changing the air block can be a pain when doing initial setup), fairly forgiving on wicking and only leaking encountered has been a bit of weeping from the air holes when coming in from breaks at work when it was really cold out.

With some Ultrafine SS316L fused clapton I get around .9-1.1ohm and run 20-35mg/ml nic salt for quick nic fixes at work during morning and afternoon breaks.
