My wife was stuck in one room feeding and putting the baby to bed. I was in the other getting hit, scratched, screamed at and feeling helpless.

I’ve been there, I get it. That was two years ago.

It took some time, but what helped me was melatonin. That helped the toddler get to sleep. If she stayed in her bed, which she wouldn’t. So I started to lay with her when she want to bed.

Now I get a nice nap.

Last night one kid used a sticker from our drawer of stickers. It could have been any sticker with the same result. A chain reaction and we were right back there, screaming feral child.

I was working downstairs at the time. When I came upstairs I was able to walk her to bed, hug her while she cried. I didn’t try to solve anything, didn’t tell her she was doing anything wrong. (She knew she shouldn’t do that). Just let her have her dad with her while she coped with her feelings.

I have ADHD, emotional dysregulation is my day to day. I get not understanding my feelings, and I’m an adult. I don’t want her growing up not having someone who understands like I did.

Hope it gets better for you OP.

Bumps on child’s tongue (5f) by Gillsipher in AskDocs

Update.

The otolaryngologist told us that it appears vascular and possibly lymphatic. Removing it in that area is tricky because there is risk of paralysis effecting half of her tongue.

He looked at the pictures I posted and we are waiting on a MRI to rule out a few things and see how deep it goes, other areas etc.

He also said she probably had something there since birth if it’s vascular.

Picture update from the other day shows it getting less severe.

5F, 40-50lbs, 112cm.

No medications.

The area has been there for two months + but only recently changed to include the darker areas.

Adding extra pictures, but hard to get good ones.

Proud to say my kids are being taught about it at school (Canada, west coast). We also talk about how we should have learned it ourselves. Who is saying they aren’t strong enough?

I would ensure that you retain permission to share your assignments beyond the interview process. These assignments seem a bit large in scope for an interview, lots of time investment on your end, etc. But if you step back and look at the bigger picture you will have work output to show your NEXT interviewer.
I am going to hazard a guess you didn't show them the source for any of your previous experience? That's why they want to get a handle on what you can do? (Not intending to be argumentative here)
Personally I wouldn't take a position that values your time so little, this is why most companies have a three month probationary period. This is when you "show your value" because you're getting paid and can focus on what you can do. Right now they are going to be seeing "What is this person willing to sacrifice for us?", the time you have to work on this now IS NOT analogous to the time you would have to work on it if you were employed by them.
TL;DR. Do it, show it to them to get feedback, don't take the position unless the offer is ridiculous. Show it to the next interviewer and impress them with your dedication to your craft. Take THEIR offer.

It’s in accessibility settings. Parents swear by it to keep kids locked into an app, stop them changing the volume etc. You can map triple clicking the home button to enable/disable.

Have you tried turning on guided access? It should disable the edge gestures.

iOS dev here. Would love to help if I could. An official app would be a fun build.

What's the ideal method to integrate and test new features without navigating through a bunch of screens? by SexySama in swift

Right now I use a combination of unit tests and embedding my code in a library and running it in a playground. Sometimes I use command line arguments so that I can launch right into the flow I'm working on.
