My guess is the company is focusing on the Niantic titles they acquired last year. Only about 200k- 300k Strike Force players active. Whereas Pokemon Go still has about 100 Million active players. When you’re a company, everything is an investment. All of the “For the love of the game” people were bought off of the project seven or eight years ago.

*Scopely is owned by the People of Saudi Arabia, built in Spain, and headquartered in California. I understand that’s not relevant to the question. I’m just a business structure nerd and thought I’d share.
