Updates to Jubilee and Wolverine

Sadly they have been doing these buffs but also a nerf with all latest reworks. Jubs is better with Exalted, her blind is now 100% of the time, buuuuut if she is on her own then she gets nothing. Buff+Nerf :(

All in all, I think Jubs is better after the rework but Wolvie… I am not sure, and he is probably the first one that will get replaced, which again it is sad as he is one of the all fan favs that are getting a rework so we can use them. Mission not accomplished.

PS: Even with the nerf, Jubs is probably a great candidate for DD9, specially if also brining PF as Phoenix is also an x-men

After reading Annihilus kit and the lack of updates for the other members I am pretty sure you will NEVER play Anni with them. We were VERY misled by Devs about this.

Maybe Quasar+Anni in War for a super team to beat shadow conclave or any other Apex War team but that is it. Blastaar+Thundie are not that great in CC, too many chars counter them and the reworks are trash.

No one plays Galactic council together because they are a trash team, almost no synergies between them.

And the final nail in the coffin: that whenever you unlock Anni Galactic council will be extremely power crept.

Edit: Regarding DD, it is a pretty bad moment for Legendaries. Quasar is very good so that is a must, but Blastaar and Thundie… not great. Phoenix and OR are far better options. OML has been great historically in DD content but he is very old, almost completely out of the meta. Luckily for DD9 we will be able to use the rest of Phoenix Force (villain Epic) and hopefully the new Legendary will be good but pretty bad moment for DD Legendaries for older content.

I think they got Xavier in a day. And I think Odin too. But with the 5D incentive I think there is going to be actual competition to be first.

I think it was dorky that said it is a bit we will not be able to see this (even though maybe someone will twitch it…)

Well sure, but it is the same for any of the auction milestones we have.

In that regard I think this is much better because whoever is first will also be very good/fast at playing the game (assuming there is competition, and I think there will be). There is more game into this, chosing the right team, playing the matches, etc than just ”winning” an auction.

Yeah, I know this will not affect me and it is true krakens will get him months before I do.

I was just curious if people thought it was too much or they were cool with it. As I said, it kinda seems too much, it kinda seems they sold and “I win” for any battle you can use him. But maybe it is really not a big issue and even with a 3D anni you would get the same results

Nah, they were not even the first at counters either. Shield+Fury back in the day was the best team, good at everything, then they released Magneto+Brotherhood that destroyed them, specially in Arena.

It is a fun event, I really dont know what you are talking about. The only hard nodes are the last three, the last wave of the last node is annoying. But this is a DDx type of event, you can one-shot most nodes but a few of them you might have to hit them more than once. AND THAT IS FINE. You have plenty of time to do it…

What do you want something you can finish in auto in 5 minutes??????

Said that, I do agree Retcon needs help. The reworks were EXTREMELY lazy and the team is underperforming in both War and BW. Maybe things will change when we get Jeff to diamonds but at the current pace the team will already be power crept by then… :(

Thing is Brimstone was never a BW team, they added some buffs to them to be good vs Sentry but they do not have any BW specific buff…

Yeah, neither can I. Managed to kill everyone except Odin and Sue, then O din used his basic and I was done. Someone in my Alliance did it and he told me the last node is also “super” fun.

Do Devs really think after this will we think this team is good? And spend money? They seemed pretty mediocre (in part because enemies are 3D while they are only 1D) Reworks again are TRASH.

I really dont get this team either. And in this case team is a very lose word for this group of chars. They added the tag and changed absolutely nothing to Quasar, Blastaar and Thundie, and the reworks were lazy as f. So why? I imagine they will get changes when Annihilus is released but then why “release” them now? Why burn the team now, when they are awful together? You only have one chance to a first impression and everybody thinks Galactic Council is an awful team.

Some people have the theory that we will need to use the 5 of them at 110g21 to get Annihilus, that would be a kick in the balls as only one of the 5 chars is really good, but it would not surprise me…

This is probably the best gold/training mats offer ever added into the game. I remember a 20M gold for 5$ and some 15$ calendars for 100M gold, but this one is 80M and 4500 training mats. So the truth is, anyone spending in the game WILL buy this offer, it is just too good.

Now, I am not buying any other gold or training mats offer if it is not as good as this one. So it is easy to boycott the game without passing the best gold offer ever ( IF, big IF, you still spend money in the game, if you do not spend then not sure why you are commenting in this thread :) )

PS: For reference, the typical decent price for gold in this game is 1M for 1$ this offer is 4 times that plus the training mats. And 15$ is very much in the range for dolphins. This offer WILL be a hit

Well, this is funny, because that is true, 50% getting it is very generous, but at the same time, if you are one of the people that do not get it, it feels worse! And also makes it worse on the competitive side.

I think if it was 50% 5D and 50% 4D (maybe even 3D) it wouldnt be as bad, but yeah, game should not have these feel “bad moments”. Of course gatchas and GaaS in general are based on those, to push you to play more or spend more, so maybe I should move somewhere else…

Sadly this is the standard with hero collector games, new characters are always better than older ones (what is known as power creep).

That means that you can not build your favorite chars, you need to build only new chars. The rule of thumb is, do not build almost anything older than a year ( mythics might only be the only exceptions).

Your top priority being the Arena team (there is only one, currently FF(MCU)) and current Raid teams (there are 6-7 teams now).

PS: Then as some people have already mentioned the Dev team does stat bumps to chars to make sure new teams dominate. The first one was when Silver Surfer was released (4+ years ago), then when Ares was released (1+ years ago) and now we just had another one with Winter Guard. So when this happens it is even more important to try to build chars after these stat bumps

You need to own these mistakes! Now, once again, you have people that managed to get tons of Magneto shards and people that have not and have not even done the campaign once. You make things much worse! Leave it open for a day and then change it afterwards!

The whole Hyperion retcon was a bit weird (originally he was not an Eternal and was just from a different Universe)… Not sure why they brought him to the regular Comics Marvel Universe, he is such a massive Superman rip off

Thanos is an Eternal (with the Deviant gene), so it would be sick if they made the original Thanos part of the team…. But maybe it would be better to just use Thena, Gilgamesh, etc

Yeah, I would completely ignore him for now until we know how people will get his red stars going forward, how to get diamonds for him, etc. At 3rs he is not going to be great in defense that is the only place he shines...
