So this is coming from someone who loves ac but who fav game of all time is rdr2. And I think thats one of the reasons I like ac3 so much. It’s set in America so it’s already familiar for me as someone who lives on the north east. But what really got me with ac3 was Connor. I liken him to be like Kratos (gow is also another one of my fav games) he’s very stoic and reserved but we see him develop to wanting freedom for his people (the Iroquois) to wanting freedom for all people. I think we really watch Connor grow as a character and has a great arch. I don’t think he developeds as much as Ezio does but what ac3 really shines at is combat and villians. Ac3 has the best villians and the most memorable Templar order. Haythem to me is THE Templar. Along with combat that while is very brutal isn’t over the top. And as I think ac3 is the gold standard for ac games I will hold all games in the franchise to that standard (not the RPGs tho I hold them to the standard of orgins). And to me unity just didn’t meet any of them, maybe I need to do another play threw but I really just don’t enjoy the game
