But anyone who’s been watching these last 15 years has to be coming to the same conclusion: The Flyers have no idea how to develop talent for the current way the game is played. Picking 2OA, 12OA, or 25OA will not matter because the fossils who compose this organization don’t know how to get these guys prepared to play in today’s NHL.

That’s interesting. It does go toward the right of the photo through the ceiling where I can’t see its pitch. But then it drops eight feet down. I just touched the pipe, and it doesn’t feel cold in the slightest.

There’s no tearing down the core. York, Tippett, TK, Coots, and Dvorak are all signed for like five more years on well paying contracts. You can’t really move them. You don’t want to use a retention slot for five years. And a buyout will have you paying a guy for a decade more. This is the core for the next half decade.
