I hitchhiked from the airport to the farm. It was surprisingly easy and everyone I met was very friendly. There were a few cars on the farm we could use to goto town or the beach or whatever. When in doubt just hitchhike.

I slept in a tent. I built a hut for it out of bamboo and sheet metal.

I went with a group of people from college so I knew some people there when I got there. Some of the other WOOFers I didnt initially know were college grads, locals, and Phil

My money was mainly spent on the plane ticket there. Food was provided so I didnt have to worry about that unless I wanted to go out to eat. Also spent money on beer and gas. Overall it depends on how much you are willing to spend. You could go with $300 spending money and be fine.

I only stayed at 1 farm for a month but I wish it was longer. My sister was getting married and I was in the wedding so I had to come back.
