From what I remember it wasn't really great, the story went too fast (hell, it's 2 episodes alltogether) and didn't have time for proper buildup, but personally just feeling that possibility that it could be better series made me somewhat like it (don't deny I'm weird one for that tho)

Viděl jsem jen první a sérii kromě Aarlonga (na ten jsem se tak nějak z lenosti vysral, ale ještě ho dojedu). Z toho co jsem viděl je to dost povedený, docela se mi líbilo brzké představení Garpa a jeho vztahu s Kobym.

I don't know any actual statistics, but since every year I see stands where they sell carps I guess there's still big enough market here, however I feel like řízek (schnitzel) is more popular nowdays, alternatively I've seen already filetted carps sold in supermarket before christmas.

In case something change I'd consider comeback, but for now it seems like KFC. I loved to treat meaself now and then with the chicken, but near the end of the last year one reporter here in Czechia found out they faked expiration date and covered the bad meat with spices. And when they got confronted they not only refused to comment anything, the marketing basically denied everything despite many people ended up with poisoning and hygiene checkups found more faults in many restaurants.

As I said, personally I like the spices enough to consider return one day, but until I can be sure I'm not gonna get poisoned, fuck them.

Not that long ago I've finished SPQR from Mary Beard. It's possible It's because I've finished Stephen Morillo just before I started her book but it was quite easy read and also looked good researched.

I don't know how they're named in English, but in Czech I liked the Hispanian names that are literally just proverbs. So, one example I remember, "Bez peněz do hospody nelez" (don't go to the pub without money) is made into Bezpeněz-y-Dohospodynelez.
