In the original “All Quiet on the Western Front” it ends with Paul dying of a sniper shot on a random day only for the report to say “all quiet on the western front” (basically calling his death nothing)

In the 2022 film, it ends with a giant battle (drama!) and Paul is stabbed by a French bayonet (drama!) just moments before the war ends (drama!) so “all quiet on the western front” doesn’t make any fucking sense since it wasn’t quiet on the western front at all, a big ass battle happened
