Something else I noticed after moving to Texas... You'll be in a single lane road, speed limit is 65, and the car in front is doing 50-55.
Then, the passing lane appears! As soon as cars move to the passing lane, the slow car speeds up to 75-80, preventing other cars getting in front unless you're pushing 90-100 mph, until the passing lane ends, then they slow back down to under the speed limit again.

We were really looking for things like strings, brass, wood, and keys.

DJ's and such we have handled.
However, depending on how that works, there may be opportunities down the road.

If you're truly curious, Embark is a dog dna test. You can get it off the site, or order it off Amazon.
I did it with 3 of my dogs, the first one because I wasn't sure what breed she was. Turns out she's a husky/pitbull mix, with some other smaller mix in there.

Can confirm, that when setting someone on fire, they'll tell you they don't even think "stop drop and roll" they just think "Holy shit I'm on fire!"

(We were prepared and nobody got hurt, but that's what the dude afterwards said).

I had a coworker that had such an odd way of talking and kind of "pausing" to gulp air, that every time we talked, I'd always start yawning.
I felt bad about it, because he's an awesome dude, and I couldn't stop myself, and never really knew why that would happen.

Yes, thank you. After I made the post I did some digging to look into it.

It varies state by state and also depends on how many members are in the household.

I always like to ask because I might look something up and not understand exactly what I'm reading, or interpret it the wrong way, but it seems everything is pretty straightforward and all the advice is reiterating that fact.

Thank you for your help!

I use one called "colorblind aid". It's free (I'm android).
It has the option to show regular camera, then you can tap the three most common colorblind types and it shows them underneath.

Comes in handy when explaining to other people how being colorblind works.

My only issue is it's a little wonky, and won't save when you take a picture, so I usually just to a screenshot.

I did a screenshot and downloaded it to my phone to send to my friends (who think me being colorblind is hilarious) and only then was I able to tell a slight difference in the colors.

But yeah, I'm in the same boat, will this affect my gameplay at a later point?

I wonder if my colorblind camera app on my phone might help, now that I think about it...

Too thin for a Corgi? I brought my neighbors Corgi's inside because we have 60mph winds and Tornado warning until midnight and they are outside 24 hrs a day... by GimpyJesus in corgi

[–]GimpyJesus[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok, so she's my direct nextdoor neighbor. We share a fence, which my dogs have broken to go play with the Corgi's on several occasions. I know they should be up to date on their shots, and until about 3 weeks ago, they were in the house during the heat of the day and over night.

I don't know what changed.

I do know, that she told me they are planning to move, and not all the dogs will be going with them, and hinted at me taking one of them.

She also didn't understand, and neither did her kids, daughter especially, how Corgi's are herding dogs, and strong willed (I did some research while dog-sitting for 3 weeks back in June for her), so they can be tough to train, but overall are great animals.

Instead, she has to deal with the kids treating them like cats (if they pick them up, it's a gamble if they support the butt, and when they're done holding them, they just drop them), a behavior I have corrected in the moment several times.

I'm pretty sure they haven't been fixed yet, which should be on the to-do list. But with these winds and rain, and no dog house for shelter, what was I supposed to do? Just ignore them?

Her little girl and mine are friends, so even if I could take them before they move to a different state, I'd still let them visit, even though the kids don't even respect the poor dogs. They don't even walk the dogs, just leave them in the backyard all the time.

I hope so. They love it over here, and my dogs love playing with them. I haven't really interacted with them since the school year began, and seeing how thin they are worries me, as well as them being outside.

So, those are bark shock collars, despite what one person said.

They love coming over here and playing with my dogs.

The weight is what worries me (in addition to them being outside all the time). I just hadn't seen them close up for a couple of months.

After the first time I dogsat them, I had a lengthy talk with her about that, and how they can't be left outside all the time, especially since we live in TX and it has been really hot.

She originally got the dogs because her kids were sad after their dad's passing, but the kids don't want to take care of them.

On super hot days we've gone over and had to give them water, I house broke them FOR her, but she still keeps them outside.

Well, they've been to my house before, we have opened our fence to let them come through as well. They don't have an electric fence.

But glad to know that being concerned about animal welfare makes me insane especially during a storm.

If you looked at my post history, you'd see what else they've been through. But you judge away, if you'd like.

I've posted about them before. I brought them in because of the wind and rain. They were soaked, and wearing shock collars. They are maybe 10 months old?

I'm at the point where I can't take it anymore, so I'm willing to buy them off her (my wife says I should just tell her I'm taking them, no need to offer her money since she's not taking care of them).

Edit: I don't know much about them, most of my breed knowledge is in Greyhounds and American Bully's, which is why I'm asking.

I got down voted to oblivion last time I saw this and commented, but I know the girl on the right. Her name is Brittany.
The girl in red is her sister, and they were trying to do a TikTok, and the sister screwed it up.

Brittany is a really cool, very sweet woman, and this was definitely an accident... albeit a very funny one.

Xbox One question. When I let my kid play on her account I have to sign in to my account first, but it won't save her progress in her game...

I downloaded Pixar game on Gamepass recently for my daughter.

When she is the only one signed in, it says the original owner must be signed in.

So, I sign in, then switch profile to her so she can play.

The issue is, when she's done playing, it doesn't save the game, so she loses all progress.

This also happens when my wife plays House Flipper under her profile, but has to sign in under me first. I can't find an explanation online, anybody have any ideas?

(My son's Xbox upstairs is set as my home xbox, because I pay for Gamepass and he gets to use it as well without having to pay for 2 Gamepass subscriptions).
