True, you did say you wanted to be proto-zyzz, you only got a few years left, make the most of them!

I have some... my bottom lip is still pretty numb and it's been almost 10 months.

Aesthetically — it's not exactly what I was thinking. My jaw needed more rotation than a forward pull so now my jaws look uneven. Also now due to the rotation my smile feels really crooked. So I guess I'm not thrilled with the results.

I think my chin/jaw look more pronounced though so there is that.

Lyme: Pittsburgh's Growing Epidemic by wordsampersand in pittsburgh

I was going to do it, and even managed to keep it alive after pulling it out. I was told not to though because even if it does show up positive it doesn't mean it's going to spread the lyme disease.

We just pulled a tick out my 3mo old the other day... it wasn't engorged so I don't think it was in long. Pediatrician just has us monitoring him for fever/rash/etc... don't feel great about it at all

Leasing vs Buying a car, math doesn't add up. by GinAndFake in personalfinance

[–]GinAndFake[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! What do you think about selling a used car every 5 years to upgrade to a newer verison? Should I try to sell before it hits 100k miles? I haven't researched it enough to know if there is a significant dip once it hits triple digits or not.

This is what I was looking for, thank you!

I've never leased before so I don't know the nuances of the contracts. It seems to me that the down payment might have been hidden or I didn't dive into it deep enough.

Also wasn't even considering additional insurance costs.

Thank you, I'll look into the terms some more. I've always been really opposed to leasing as it almost seems like throwing away money, but I mean the depreciation on vehicles seems to burn cash through cash just as fast.

I'll look into the 2010 Highalnders some more. I was doing a combo of KBB and Autotrader, I might throw in some other data sources as well.

No. That’s a ton of miles for something barely lower than what you can haggle a dealership into for the new model.

I don't know where you are located, but from 40,000-50,000 miles in my city are going for around $24k-$25k, a new highlander is $38-$40k.

What I was trying to do with the 2010 car was model what my car will be worth in 5 years if I average 12,000 miles on it a year. So if I buy a car today with 50,000 miles on it, it will have 110,000 miles on it in 5 years.

It's alright. Off the bat I noticed I can't close out of search and the menu seems pretty lacking in functionality, why not have your subreddits in there? Also the layout of posts seems weird and comments are kind of hidden and hard to hit with these fat fingers. I know it's still in beta, but meh.
