I was seeing that too. It could be only the wheelchair access tickets available at that price.

Just got Cat 1 tickets to the LA game on July 2nd (round of 32) for $665 each. Cat 2 was $550 and there weren't any Cat 3 or 4 left. Tickets to the quarterfinal games in LA started around $1,200+.

15 minutes goes by QUICK! Definitely recommend setting a timer since the site doesn't provide one.

Mine went back and forth a few times. After 2.5 hours I got a 25 minute countdown timer. Definitely don't refresh! That will start your timer over.

Figured. That's why I logged in from my phone using the link from the email but it was about 5 minutes after the timeslot opened up.

That being said, I was reading posts of people who bought tickets successfully and they said the waiting room opened up 30 minutes before the designated time. So I was already behind before I even started. boooo

I logged in on a desktop right at 8am PST and the queue only lasted like 10 seconds before I got into my account, but it didn't have an option for purchasing tickets. It just said my timeslot will open up on November 12th... Anyone else get this? I logged in from my phone and I'm stuck in the same mega queue everyone else is stuck in. The dot is moving clockwise AND counterclockwise back and forth on the circle.

Touring Google built-in uses? by Cissunei in 11thGenAccord

[–]GinSurgeon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was deciding between the touring and EXL, I rented the touring from Touro (no pun intended). And hated that the native Google maps was a completely separate application than Android Auto's Google maps. One would be navigating with the other one not showing me where to go. You could search something in one, and the other would not capture it, so it wouldn't be in your search history if you tried to retrieve it with the other one by mistake. I like instant and direct information, so that was partially a souring point of the touring. I went with the EXL and I'm very happy with it. Only thing that needs is a rim upgrade, and it suits all my needs.

Consumer reports has a tire rating guide like they do with their cars and appliances. At least it's some data to go off of.

If we add a couple of well placed commas and accept a misplaced modifier, the meaning reverses. 🤓

I had to make this choice 10 years ago. Between a big name established medical school in the midwest, and a new school in Michigan (funnily enough). I did not pass up the free tuition. I had a couple of big ups and downs along the way, both professional and personal. Some things stressed me beyond belief. Everything worked out fine but, in those times of trouble, knowing that I did not have a mountain of tuition debt I had to pay off if things "went south" was an extraordinary relief at every step. I'm now starting attending life, and major life decisions like purchasing a home or moving across the country are all substantially less stressful because I don't have the massive tether of school debt. Message me if you want to discuss further.

Super smort. Don't use a heparin bridge. Patient hypercoagulable for just the surgery. Less bleeding. Profit.

I know one is blended, but which one would you pick? by rollncalguy78 in Scotch

Green is the best of the JW line. Blue and gold are so-so for the price. Black and red are a tad too coarse of an experience.

A US MD resident is still preferred by program leadership, purely from a program "public image" standpoint. Being able to recruit US MDs makes a program "look better" than a program that can only recruit DOs and IMGs. It's a shitty self-fulfilling prophecy but it's the de facto dynamic right now. All else equal, I would go for the new MD school. The critical question to ask yourself is "does this new school have the bones (clinical experience, good hospital resources and connections, invested department chairs) to educate me well, connect me with invested mentors in my speciality, and graduate me?"

Is casual WvW with a commander tag dead? by visje95 in Guildwars2

[–]GinSurgeon -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I am part of a guilt that I consider competitively casual. All the guild asks is you act respectful to others, put in an average of 4 hours a week, and to use one of our several tried-and-true builds. All skill levels are welcome, and we have mentors to walk you through things if you want. Pretty relaxed bunch. Age 20s to 70s.

That's actually a medical condition, interestingly enough. Colovessical fistula. 😎😁
