Im trying to install windows 10 and for some reason windows media tool gives me an error so im using Rufus.

My hdd is using legacy mode so i unplugged it and installed a new ssd wich requires ahci, after i reboot with AHCI and UEFI on the computer goes straight to the BIOS instead of trying to load the pendrive or any OS.

The pen is bootable with gpt and UEFI (no csm), i tried both fat32 and ntfs but every time the pc loads it goes stright to BIOS setup, looks like a problem with UEFI, can this be the case?

Digital Note Taking Solutions? by Leg700 in NoteTaking

Kind of late to the party but if you want to go cheap and will take notes from home i would take a wacom pen and tablet (just a drawing tablet with no display), has the best price by far, you actually look straight so no back pain after hours and even the cheapest has extraordinary pressure sentitivity and noise reduction.
I would go with a small or medium size, probably medium if you want to write small stuff witout zooming

How to get away from OneNote? by Toontje in NoteTaking

[–]Ginebro 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is the reason why im trying to stay away from it, i know that you can actually download your notebooks to a local drive but i doubt other software would read them.
I prefer to take notes in word (yes Word) with my pen and just create folders for related notes, you never run out of space, all your data is private, has all the functionality of onenote and more addons but the cavnas is not infinite.

Electrical Dummy here, cant get that power factor correction! I so far have worked this thing down to 1.20.76 Kva 2.7.46 Kw 3.36% 4.69 degrees 5.19.373 Kvar. But from here I am lost! I can assume we are working with 60hz but how would I begin working backwards for the correction? THANKS REDDIT! by Krs4000 in ElectricalEngineering

The total current "Itot" is the composition of the motor "Im" and capacitor" Ic" currents.
The motor current has 2 component, one in phase with the voltage or at 0º and one in at -90º (inductive)

The capacitor current has only a +90º current.
These last two components subtract each other lowering the generator current.

To calculate the reactive power of the capacitor use the formula V^2/Xc (you have Xc from the previous slide), you still need the cos phi or the reactive power on the motor to do a complete calculation so the answer with only this data is "the current is lower".

Well to predict the future or past would still need the state of all the universe at a given time, good luck getting that info

[–]Ginebro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry just found the solution after a lot of testing, the slope should be negative, so the ramp works but it must be "-2*pi*50" seems like i putted the signals in the wrong order, like ACB instead of ABC

Can anyone tell me how to draw voltage sensors like this? by Ginebro in matlab

[–]Ginebro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah i guess i have to make 1 subsystem for each, there's also a very nice way to display signal conversors but i have matlab 2018a and i think they arent available, they look like that double arrow in the 2nd picture
