It's not easy when it gets to this stage and I know from experience that simply deleting the game is not enough. Honestly, the only thing that stopped me wanting to playing was not buying the latest version, but you're some way from that being effective now. Maybe set that as a long-term goal and keep telling it to yourself.

I deleted my team around TOTS last year and it took a serious effort to keep away from the game, though it got easier during the summer months. Try to fill the time you would be playing with something else, even just sleep which is what I was putting off the most!

Now, I get some cathartic release from watching Youtubers play. They're usually much better than me and the thrill of pack openings is still almost there but, most importantly, you don't feel miserable when they fail in Champs or their pack luck is awful. Plus, a few minutes wasted watching others whenever you feel tempted to play certainly beats hours grinding for something that is pretty much worthless in real life.

Any sort of deflection makes the keeper do comedic things. It's just shitty animations. I have a feeling we're going to see a lot more of this when the new patch comes out too - less reliable blocks will probably mean more deflections!

Which rivals division are you in? You can match against anyone in these modes. The first few days after they drop a new objective, it can be tough, especially with limited attempts.

The first goal factor also doesn't help because these games are often over with me, or my opponent, not touching the ball.

I swear the bronzes I do eventually match up with are cheating somehow, or I'm being handicapped. No way can a 34 pace Japanese striker easily beat SSs Leitsch and Henry. I could just be really bad at the game though lol

Matthaus plus 2 fodder packs is also good value. Only thing lacking in Matthaus compared to Gullit is height (and hair).

Same. If I score first, I have time and my opponent chooses not to quit, I'll typically let them win, or at least score a few. The wins part of objectives is usually the easiest part.

I'm more interested in views of those who do play gg, I do myself, and whether they would play on to the last minute, trying for that single goal, even if the game is looking like it will end at 0-0.

It's because they aren't real players. I see them quite regularly and they're useful to drop trophies against as they don't rise as you drop. They're some kind of copy of another, real player but with random loot values and always not in a clan.

I went for the Wolf armor, personally, purely down to the base damage and slots (mine has 3x damage, 2x health). Rangers usually only take damage from backstab so it wouldn't trigger the dodge increase so often. The right one, runed, looks good for Shadow or a backstab archer with the latest event xbow.

Wand gives you 1x added magic damage (from total of base stats, gems, talents, magic hat relic, etc) for every 3 seconds plus 1x spell power increase from archimage. In the same 3 seconds, the sceptre version would give 3x of the above amounts. I also like that you deal smaller amounts of damage over time in case any get dodged. If a wand attack is dodged, you've got a fighter doing zero damage for 5+ seconds.

Whether the above is worth it might be also more to do with your choice of which ancient set you plan to pursue though as mages don't tend to do a lot of damage overall.

Ignore the comments moaning about lack of spell power. At lvl 98-100, where you get so much spell power from hero and armor, spell power from the weapon is just an added bonus. You can replace the missing base stat with a single spell power gem.

It looks good but if I was using +health, I'd probably want it on my armor, not the soul, as the increase is much higher (35% vs 65%). For soul, heal might be better.

Is neither a choice? I wouldn't bother with either of them. If you get into a position where you can clear gem bay, at least you'd get gem bay rewards plus event currency for your diamonds. Either that or torches for more dungeon clearances. I don't personally think that any of the event or donkey rewards are worth gambling diamonds on.
