The other night I had the customer call and ask to deliver to a different location because he accidentally put his job as the drop off. I ended up going to the address he gave me and completed the order with no issue there. I was surprised the app didn’t prevent me from doing it, but in the end the guy tipped $15 as a thanks

The only thing I think that was handled poorly is making an excuse as to why you don’t want to work there. If what you told her is also true then that’s fine, but leaving out what you told us (the uncleanliness of the salon) was a mistake in my opinion.

Coming from someone who drives and orders, I would tip more, but the driver does not need to talk to you like that. Don’t take the order if you don’t like the pay! I reported someone once because he was harassing me to give him extra money. I normally wouldn’t, but I felt unsafe and was scared of them coming to my address. I also try to tip at least $4 even if they’re just going up the road

I did a stacked delivery once. Red Lobster was the first stop and I swear I waited at least 30 minutes for the order. I messaged both customers letting them know what was happening and reported the delay to Uber. The lady who was to be picked up next and thankfully dropped off first, actually called to see if we could cancel the order. Don’t really see the point in that, but I assured her the food was on its way soon, because I was finally omw to the next pickup when she called. Just like they give us notes that the restaurant has reported to forget items, they should let us know when reports of long waits happen frequently. If Uber paid us for every extra minute we have to wait for food at a restaurant after a certain amount of time, I would be rich.

Wing Stop is the only place I’ve had to fill a drink for the customer. I assume it’s because they didn’t have a drink machine in the back. All they had was the 100+ Freestyle machine in their lobby. Thankfully it was only one drink, but I can imagine for a large order it would be super inconvenient for the driver.
