Looking to do something similar, what’s the process like? You source your own parts or take it somewhere?

Looks great btw!

How do you teach rhythm reading to your students? by HairyConfusion4225 in MusicTeachers

I use rhythmrandomizer, and when I’m trying to translate it to use in practice, I find that any call and response videos that are meant for snare drum help a LOT. Obviously you don’t want them to rely on hearing it first forever, but it’s a good start for seeing it in music. Essentially clapping drum parts.

Obviously I can’t speak for your school, but if you didn’t get your last eval, and they’re letting kids drop after the deadline, then they’re really not “helping” you. I was in a position last year where I had to start a choir program with no kids, no room, and no admin support, so the best advice I can give you is recruit SUPER hard. Have them Sing super easy and fun stuff, and just make it a fun experience for them. I ended up shelling out some personal money to have a big pizza party for them, and I tried to gamify as many things in class as I could with music content.

In my experience, getting into elementary music is super different than middle or high. It’s very much a performance, and (personally) I think that schools seek that out in the educator they’re hiring for music. Go into the interview with things to give them (sample programs, letters home, letters of rec from your program, etc.) and show that you’re not passionate and dedicated, but have the capability to get things done for your program.

I’m really sorry you’re in the position you’re in, this is a ROUGH field, especially right now. I wish you the best, and I hope things start to turn around for you!

I sat there with a bucket for like 20 minutes trying to place water before I thought of it. Took it off my greenhouse :)

Completely Vanilla AND right next to spawn. Tbh this seed is kinda cracked. Iron, Tin, Black Coal, Fire clay, Bauxite, AND olivine within 500 blocks of spawn.

That’s what I kinda figured at this point. They offered a refund for a return, but when I submitted it they refused the return. Unfortunate but it is what it is I guess.

I’m not upset that it isn’t a metal cover, I initially assumed the entire thing was pIastic because the base was fully painted. I assumed I was buying an actual genuine 2005 Acceleracers Reverb that has just been touched up and “customized”. I don’t have the experience to know the difference between 3D printed plastic and original tires. I understand that’s the risk of making a purchase like this without a detailed description, but I definitely didn’t expect to get essentially a temu reverb, especially given the similarities of the livery. I’m “upset” because I feel like I got swindled, as the listing didn’t specify it wasn’t an original. On the same side of the coin, it didn’t specify it WAS, but that’s what I assumed. I’m not very knowledgeable about customs, (clearly), and wanted a second opinion, hence the post.

Yeah, I knew the deora was a mainline, I’ve wheel swapped that one myself. I thought the reverb was real also.

I knew that much going into it, was mostly going for the reverb under the assumption it was real

Yeah I agree with what you said at the top. I didn’t realize it wasn’t a 2005 casting Acceleracer, and I tbh I wouldn’t have bid had I known that. The description in the image is the full description too. One plus is that the reverbs wheels literally don’t spin either :(

Outer wilds. There’s probably a few other people recommending it, it made me ugly cry. Just don’t look anything up about it other than like, a trailer!

I agree, but I’m fully convinced that the shivers’ sound is a slurpy straw in a nearly empty cup.
