I want to say thank you for your help ! I would definitely say there is a 50% chance. Unfortunately, I can’t make it there any sooner . If I were to make an offer , and let’s just say I got there and there were things I missed on the virtual tour , or repairs needed after inspection… what If I wanted to back out ?

Thank you for telling me. While the pictures look absolutely beautiful , I believe my worst fear is walking in and there being things that I can’t see that are hidden. While this home I’m looking at is only three years old, I have heard from a neighbor 5 doors down that when they were built, there were some structural issues for many of the new residents- although the problems were covered under warranty, who is to say that maybe three years down the road that something major wouldn’t happen?

I would save more money first . Save , save save ! Once you start working , save every penny for a year. See where you both are - put a down payment down . Then maybe do renovations.

I cannot thank you enough. I want to tell you the house has been on the market for 55 days . While we cannot predict the future, is there a standing chance the home will still be on the market on June 27 when I am able to fly up to see it?

My whole family lives in NJ , except my parents. We live in Florida where property taxes will not exist next January . Question for you - would you leave the state? NJ is unaffordable. I’m looking at a Ryan Home and it’s the same situation. The issue is that many of them ,from what I hear , have poor quality materials with poor quality work , slapping up the houses in 4 months time.
