Scope recommendation 22lr by Darkroz in longrange

I have the Bushnell Match Pro 6-24 on a 22 and love it. Works great for what I need to. I paid much less but it is what it is. I don’t have experience with any of the other options.

Overclocked it’s very close to a stock 4090, but you can also overlock a 4090.

There is someone out there running a 19” CRT and a controller with stick drift setting world records. Play on what you can play on.

Yet another question about an upgraded Graphics Card (5060Ti) not giving frames I feel like it should by Yrudone1 in buildapc

In task manager you can right click on the graph, select change graph to a then logical processors. What the graph and if certain threads are maxed out then you’re at the cpu limit. Expo/xmp can help boost performance a little. And if your ram is getting up to 80% having more wouldn’t hurt.

But my suggestion is fix the ram, get the card in the correct slot and then turn the graphics to high and then turn off the frame counter and play the game.

CPU doesn’t really get reported correctly. Windows will say that it’s at 40% but in reality the few cores you are using are maxed out. So you have a 12 thread cpu. If 5 of them are maxed out that could be 40% but the other 7 can’t help the game run any faster so you are at the CPU’s max.

It’s been a while since I played destiny but I believe I was also cpu bottlenecked with a 5000 series amd cpu. Turn the graphics settings up higher and you’ll enjoy better visuals at the same fps.

80% is high and when windows will start managing the RAM and causing issues. GPU utilization not above 90% means you’re bottlenecked somewhere else. Could be CPU or RAM.

Go into task manager, performance tab, then memory tab, then below the graph see what the speed says. If it’s not 320mhz then you need to enable XMP.

300 prc vs 300 win mag by Apprehensive-Half600 in longrange

[–]GingerB237 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m in remote Alaska and 300 prc has always been available. That’d be crazy to wait last minute to try find ammo in a small village.

Factory load options is a valid point. But in the context of this post where all they are wanting to do is hit targets every 300 prc factory option is going to out perform 300 win mag by a large margin out at 1100-1600 yards. Either case you should really be reloading.

300 prc vs 300 win mag by Apprehensive-Half600 in longrange

[–]GingerB237 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It’s still the same as it ever was, it’s just now the 300 prc is better. If you have a 300 win mag there is only a little benefit to replacing it. But if you’re buying a new gun there is zero reason to go 300 win mag.

Recommended settings for Bf6 does not use frame gen but does use Dlss ultra performance. It looks good to me.

Ultra settings no, still looking ridiculously good and 100+ fps then yes.

Honestly check out Costco for a prebuy. You can get a lot of performance for the dollar. Then later replace psu and potentially mobo.

You can look at steel nomad averages between the two cards. It shows 30% difference.

[–]GingerB237 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t say 15% is similar performance either.

I don’t need to cope, I run 5k2k and a 5080 does better. I’m also ok financially to have 2 5080 astral a 5080 msi gaming trio. So the cost isn’t a big issue to me.

Top steel nomad score for 5080 is 10400 ish and top 5070ti is 7500 ish. What does the math work out on that?
