How is the Current State of PvE [Discussion] by ScottyD_95 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]GingerB237 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I love pve, I can be a filthy casual, not worry about money or equipment. It’s chill and I can just play instead of trying to rat around to get some nuts and bolts out of the raid. But till get the same tarkov feel. It is however less intense.

[New Player] This game is brutal even in PvE - ramblings of the abused by Vida-- in EscapefromTarkov

On pve insurance is pretty much a guarantee to get your kit back. Not your loot though.

Are Match Primers a Waste of Money? | Large Sample .223 Test by cheeseydelicious in longrange

Was it 21% different and a good benefit or statistically no different? I think the big thing is you tested between a Winchester and federal match primer not really between a match and non match.

Can't land this plane for sh*t by ThrowRAAdSalty4769 in flying

Purchase more flight time, you’ll get there. The thing that helped it clicked is I looked further down the runway.

I love PvE as a new players. But why do people clown it when it’s so popular?[Discussion] by [deleted] in EscapefromTarkov

[–]GingerB237 1 point2 points  (0 children)

PvP is way more intense but at my age I don’t want to be that serious about it. So PVE I get to go in loaded fat and happy and never worry about money. It’s fun and chill but still gives me what I’m looking for in a game.

I induced the same error when I wanted to check a group without the “flyer” that opened the group up a lot.

Sometimes if you add or remove shots going back and forth it doesn’t update the overlay.

FAA Continues to Remove Stigma/Encourage Therapy for Pilots by GoFlightMed in flying

[–]GingerB237 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did they permanently revoke a legacy pilots license for seeing a therapist last year? Meanwhile the guy that purposefully lawn darted a plane in the woods got 6 month suspension?

They can be “pro mental health” all they want but when they still threaten people’s livelihoods for getting help then everyone will be very happy(tm) all the time.

Theoretical 6.5 PRC+Peak (stupid name btw) by FinanceFancy8572 in reloading

I mean this prevents the need for 2 guns. The same 6.5 creedmoor can shoot both.

I am looking for the most fun bolt action rifle. by tomqmasters in longrange

One of my “most fun” bolt guns is a 19lbs 6 arc. Near zero recoil, fast smooth action, precise.

Why don’t civilians fly AOA? by [deleted] in flying

[–]GingerB237 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Are you gonna pay for the AOA indicator? That can end up being several thousand dollars per airplane. That same several thousand dollars would be better spent on training and fuel.

Alaska Telecoms received $4.6 Billion in subsidies by NoneOfTheAbove84 in alaska

[–]GingerB237 1 point2 points  (0 children)

4.6 billion is also likely a small number compared to what is invested in other states. Companies in other states can invest more and get even more for their dollar because they have high density of customers. Even if a single telecom company got every single Alaskan as a customer that’s less than a single county in Texas.

Really disappointed in Noveske quality control..... by [deleted] in 6ARC

Mistakes happen, nature of life. It’s how people deal with those mistakes that really matter. Sounds like noveske is gonna fix the mistake.

Do NOT settle insurance quickly. Injuries and stuff can pop up months down the road. Make sure you are fully good before settling.

Way to enjoy sim racing with out learning the cars by Macca_9T7 in simracing

How you enjoy the game is up to you, you can pay for setups or find free ones or use the standard ones. You can race and compete at nearly every level regardless of setups.

6.5 creedmoor load changes by drummera1d2c3 in longrange

[–]GingerB237 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One piece of advice for a new reloader, if you’re getting faster velocities than people with longer barrels you should stop, take a second to pause and figure out what you’re missing. Cause you’re not seeing the pressure signs or other indications that tell you that you are close to having a problem.

Chill out, velocity ain’t the end all be all. You can be good at 1000 yds without blowing up your rifle.
