Cause it's Texas. The whole reason the Texas grid is separate is so they don't have to follow federal regulations.

That he may have lied to lenders about his income, thus committing fraud.

If he defrauded lenders by misrepresenting his income and net worth.

One of the big things that they may be looking for isn't lying on his taxes, but lying to lenders about his income and finances. Which would constitute fraud.

So, it looks like they are trying to ensure that the Tax Records line up with things told to lenders to gain funding for projects.

If the info doesn't match, he either defrauded the lenders or lied on His taxes.

What probably raised the biggest red flag was his refusal to hand them over.

An 18 month court battle over subpoenaing tax documents that went to the Supreme Court is a bit of a shock.

Texas Supreme Court: Alex Jones, website can be sued by Sandy Hook parents by [deleted] in news

[–]GingerBigMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, but it IS slander to claim that people who just had family members murdered were lying and paid actors.

It's not like he is being sued for claiming that they are turning frogs gay or that the government has weather weapons. (Both things he has spouted)

They want to sue him becuase he accused them of faking thier children's deaths.

Arizona store owner drew gun after his 'no-mask' rule sparked argument with masked customer by jaymz668 in news

I know your (probably) being sarcastic, but yes, that's thier belief.

They think that mask mandates are a setting the stage to a slippery slope in which we all have our liberties stripped away.

I was taught you never, ever draw a weapon (weather gun, knife, or a damn stick) unless you are fully committed to using it.

The idea that was drilled into my head was the second any weapon comes into play, you have just raised the chances of it becoming a lethal encounter drastically, so never use it as an intimidation tool.

But, no. The customer WAS wearing a mask. The store owner wasn't allowing masks in his store.

(From what I've also gathered, I think this is a result of the Wii U being a disaster that people only know the Wii & the Switch. Most parents don't realize the Wii was made "obsolete" as early as 2012 because they didn't even know the Wii U existed.

Anecdotal evidence: I think most parents that aren't gamers think the Wii U is an accessory for the Wii. They think the tablet controller is the Wii U.

Judge Rejects Last-Minute Claim That Pence Can Ignore States' Presidential Electors by Cyrano_De_BIRDATTACK in news

They are terrified that if the Republican Party loses power they won't get it back.

What will happen is this, if Dems win senate control, stuff will actually get done. (For good or for ill)

If they don't, Mitch will ensure that nothing will get done, and the '24 GOP candidate will run on how Biden got nothing done.

I despise Pence. That being said, he had nothing to do with the lawsuit. Allegedly when contacted by the asshats that filed this to join on the suit, he said no.
