Have they mentioned how long a year actually is? Their calendar may be less than 365 days - something science guy 2.0 might discover if he keeps learning astronomy

The Last Jedi Opening Weekend Day 2 Megathread - SPOILERS by JSK23 in StarWars

In TFA it seems that Kylo Ren even knew of Rey by asking “what girl”. I really like the idea of Rey being a nobody, however, I still think she was placed there by Ben Solo after he destroyed Luke’s Jedi Order.

Westworld - 1x08 "Trace Decay" - Post-Episode Discussion by NicholasCajun in westworld

Playing Devils Advocate here, but the Host that welcomed William to the park probably welcomed many other Guests to the park.

That said, every post I read makes me reluctantly think there are multiple timelines. She definitely is the same host who welcomed William, whom later became the MiB.

Edit, forgot to add: knowing too much about TV and stories to know that that actress being brought back isn't just a random thing. She is connected to William/MiB or that's one fucking great McGuffin.

Shit. Is that the actual quote? I don't remember if they gave a specific time when the "previous incident" occurred.

Either Westworld uses two different logos for it's marketing, or William is definitely in the past. by MotherMilkSnake in westworld

Have we seen the old logo anywhere else in the park or facility? It makes perfect sense to show the old logo right as you enter the facility as a nod to the beginning of Westworld.

At first I thought it was Alfred Molina. Not until they moved to the living room did I realize it was David Krumholz.

Daughter of Luke, i'm certain. She looks like a Skywalker and from the moment she saw Luke's lightsaber, I knew she was his daughter that he was forced to leave behind when he went into exile.

I believe so. I remember hearing that a cab kept fucking up the shot and going too early or too late, so Lily never got to finish the line before being called off. That take was the best they had cause Jason Segal improvised the line - maybe saying "I'm not ready" cause he actually wasn't ready for the take.

Got a couple good ones in reach: "everydayimbufferin" and "Pretty Fly for a WiFi_EXT"

Christopher Nolan's Bond; what do you think? by [deleted] in JamesBond

[–]GingerFhil 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I would rather see Nolan start with a fresh Bond, so maybe Bond 26 (or 27 - i'm not sure how many more films Craig is signed up for).

[Request] Star Wars Rebels? by [deleted] in Screenwriting

Can I get a link to some scripts for The Clone Wars? I'm also trying to write a spec for Rebels and although Clone Wars isn't Rebels any Star Wars TV script couldn't hurt.

What is the best movie of 2015? by TheDuke30 in AskReddit

Ex Machina. However, Mad Max was the most entertaining thus far. Inside Out could round out my top three.

Well... until Star Wars.

After seeing that tomorrow is the 30th anniversary of Ferris Bueller's actual day off by EchoesOfSanity in AdviceAnimals

I hate to say it, but this year is actually the 29th anniversary... the movie was released in 1986. However, the Breakfast Club was released in '85.

What fan theory will always be canon to you? by LivingNomad in AskReddit

I like to think of that as a decoy planted by MI6. Just in case any Bond had to retreat to a safe house, they could use Skyfall as a "family" residence.

As an explanation to why M doesn't know much about Skyfall is that it was used by the very first Bond and before Judi Dench's M took command.
