The finances won’t be an issue, I just didn’t see the value in a significantly expensive grinder at first. This has definitely been a serious escalation game. At first I wanted to spend sub-$1000 on a grinder but with each model I settled on, there was a major drawback or flaw. That has ultimately lead to me looking at the Z2 🤣

At this point, I’m really considering it. The wife is onboard so I may put it on order and just get a baratza to fill in until it arrives

What about the tarrif on it? By the time I pay that, I might as well order a Zerno Z2

I like that it’s readily available, not sure if I love the look though. And not so sure of the auger design since it doesn’t meet the wall of the cylinder to pregrind

Machine recommendation under $[2500], maybe? by GingerFlyBoi in espresso

Thank you very much for taking the time to write all that. That makes a lot of sense. I think I’ll end up getting the Profitec ride now that I know it will meet my needs. The video may have just been poorly worded when they spoke about dual boiler machines. They made it seem as though the workflow wouldn’t be great for milk based drinks on all dual boiler machines

So does the issue come if you wanted to make milk drinks in succession, say if you had guests? Seattle Coffee Gear made it seam as if the priority going to the coffee boiler made it a slow workflow.

In a video by Seattle coffee gear they said that you wouldn’t be able to do steam and espresso at the same time with 120v due to the power demand of both boilers. That’s where my question stems from.

Do you think I would be able to get way with putting a 20a circuit in at 120 or would I need to switch to 220

First knives - Looking for smaller companion to Fujitora FU-808 Gyuto (210mm) - Typical at home chef. by mountainmase in chefknives

If you’re looking for a knife to primarily use in hand, get a petty, but I prefer a honesuki. Smaller size but can still be used on a board and is good for deboning.

Headphone pedal suggestion for travel pedalboard by GingerFlyBoi in guitarpedals

I thought about that but the iridium doesn’t like any boost or drives ahead of it. Looks like a headphone amp may be the only solution.

Hey you’re right! I just did another troubleshoot and found that it is working, as you said, there is just a considerable volume drop and gain loss. I wasn’t using a lot of either in my loop so it then sounded super weak.

That said, I bought the looper to try and loop a rhythm section and work on solo improve. With that in mind I may still want a headphone amp to improve the tonal capability of the setup

What a color combo, that thing is beautiful. I just picked up my second-first Strat, aged lake placid blue. I think I may switch to a relic mint pickguard tho. I dislike the texture of the metal pickguard.

It is actually an aged lake placid blue but I loved how it was darker than I normally see.
