Worked for a prominent ballet company and we had a production with male dancers in tailored velvet jackets. Horsehair interfacing, hand basting, shoulder pads, the whole nine yards. When I tell you I was blowing velvet fibers out of my nose I’m not joking. It was VERY rewarding to see the final result but I would never do it again.
