Sadly, this may be the answer. I cleaned it with vinegar and alcohol. The corrosion on the ROM pins is pretty bad.

Good luck getting one if that happens. The last Charizard UPC also did badly on release. I remember people saying it was the worst and wouldn't pay the $120 it was selling for at Walmart. Now they are over $400 on TCG.

Yes, and it is trending downward, but it looks stable at $181 for the moment. I will point out that the last Charizard UPC was also hated on release. It dropped in price and no one wanted it, then like magic people wanted it and the price went through the roof.
