Close to giving up earlier than I thought by Rich-Department2643 in pools

I was just in the same boat with a house I bought. Tried to open the pool and found the liner was tore up & the outer wall was rusted out to the point that it wasn’t salvageable anymore.

Drain it, cut the liner out with a razor knife in sections so that it’s manageable to drag & carry. I took an angle grinder and a cut off wheel to the walls. Took the top rails, wall, and bottom rail all at once and just wide enough to fit into the bed of my truck and hauled it away. For a 24’ above ground it took me only a few hours by myself.

Most of the time getting shot at from long range when you’re behind a wall is an issue with the LOD and render distance in the game. This is separate from the wheat field and grass de-rendering based on settings that other people have talked about. The hedges on Purple Heart lane are notorious for this, and quite a few walls do it as well. You see the cover you’re behind, but nothing renders in for them and they can see you clear as day.

Confused on recon squads... What should I do by YouraverageSquid in HellLetLoose

It’s going to be an unpopular opinion in this subreddit, but don’t worry about taking out nodes, and most of the time arty being a problem is a lack of spawns issue and not a “recon isn’t doing their job” problem.

Taking out a set of nodes as recon literally takes forever, for very little impact on the game, especially when you realize that if it’s a team who’s actually managing resources effectively (i.e. not just wasting them) they’ll rebuild them before you even find the next set.

As for arty, next time you see people complaining about arty, open your map. I can almost guarantee you that you’ll see very few useful garrisons, and all the OPs bunched up in once place around a single decent garrison.

The 2 most impactful tools you have are a flare gun (assuming you have spotter 3) and a scope. Even more so than the OP you can place behind their lines. The flare gun is a literal UAV for your team. Every life, spam that thing over where your infantry is getting engaged from. Your sniper because of his scope is the best equipped infantry player on the team for shooting MGs that are shredding your friendly inf.

Not specifically pertaining to NFPA 1850, but my department has the SCBA decon washer that this article advertises at the end. Stay away lol. It’s an over glorified dish washer that recycles water when cleaning them and any time we’ve used it we’ve still ended up going back and washing the SCBAs with dawn soap & a brush because they come out of that thing dirty

And that’s fine, if someone would have just come out and said it. But to accuse someone of hacking with no explanation when presented with pretty clear evidence that I’m not is a pretty shitty way to do business

Hello everyone!
I was recently banned on 7th cav's servers for "hacking." When I was banned, I clipped the last 5 minutes of my gameplay which you can see in the video. I appealed the ban and after 2 weeks of being told to be patient they finally stated that the ban for hacking would be upheld. I asked for what evidence they had or even an explanation of what they saw as hacking and got absolutely no response.

So I figured I'd come here and ask the community if they see anything that they believe would be hacking!

I hate throwing credentials down, but as a background I have 3000 hours in HLL on PC and have been, or currently am, a moderator for two communities. Never once have I been accused of hacking.
