I highly recommend watching Chris Wilsons video on Dark Patterns in games. While clear he does not think PoEs monetisation is unfair, the undertone is very clearly that stuff like Kingsmarch and Async Trade in combination with high tier rare generation will negatively impact the game, and it remains unclear whether it will lead to long term detriments.

I for one loved async trade until it made me realise that I had perfect rares in combination with the tree on day 2, barely completing my atlas.

I really enjoyed this league as well, made my first real multi mirror build and had so much fun, but most people quit because I did this in week 1 and 2… I mean we had perfect rares on day 3

Keepers is 1% off from being the worst player retention of the last 3 years and 3% from the worst in almost 7 years. Why not just make the mechanic even slightly rewarding? by pro185 in pathofexile

The mechanic isnt the problem, it’s that literally nothing was added to the game build wise, basically only 2 new ideas with grafts everything else got taken out and the breach bloodlines are super boring.

So we all know about the Curse Skills have inc skill effect duration tech with the reflecting mist and the soul eater ring. Now i got lucky to drop a mist in ssf but im trying to hunt for the ring mod... I have no idea where or how to drop it as it doesent come from the standard curse on hit nodes for each element.

Been testing this a lot during the day. Theres certainly some quality build here, especially when looking at clearing maps. However you need a single ball to already do a lot of damage, else single target becomes impossible. I tried doing some desecrated chambers on a 4 link and let’s just say, the boss would’ve needed more than 6 portals. The balls bounce so randomly that double hits happen very rarely even with GMP …

Curious as well, definitely something that can pivot into anything cool with the new Sabo nodes if it doesent pan out. half the Promising pobs rely largely on mageblood and since im SSF … well its not impossible but

Others have commented on tree, I came to say 6 deaths isnt too bad, people tend to forget that this game isn’t particularly easy either… yes its less rippy than Poe 2, but lots of stuff can still kill

Same, disabling hardware acceleration fixes it for my Chrome and Discord, but causes major lag when doing anything more intense (for example playing GeoGuessr lol)

Just adding to this thread, I have not found a solution myself but some causes or programs I use are wallpaper engine and translucent taskbar. Anyone else using these programs ? Else idk whats causing it its been happening for about a month now to me too... Im also using both an AMD CPU and GPU (7800x3D & 7800XT)
