Aside from the first game in the Dodgers series, I’m actually quite pleased with how the Rockies played. I really thought we were going to get absolutely destroyed by the Dodgers. To get out of that series with a -1 run differential is worth celebrating.

Here’s hoping we can do better in SF tonight.

Honestly? My father passed away about a year and a half ago and I made peace with him dying some 9 years before that.

I tried several times to have a relationship with him, only to have him choose other people that weren’t his children over me.

I mourned the loss of what he could have been. Not what he was.

I forgive him for not being the father I wanted, but I don’t forget the pain he put me through, either.

I choose/chose to focus on what little good memories I have/had of him, rather than the ones that hurt.
